Because its a type of classical music. No one is wrong when he says it's classical music. Well, there are very distinct differences between most metal and classical. Classical has it's benefits on the body and the brain because it is usually at consistent tempo of 60 bpm and melodies only repeat twice at max and then move onto something else and then the same thing may repeat later. The fact that metal is usually at an extremely fast tempo makes it drastically different from classical in the way it affects your body and brain. They're very similar in other aspects.
