  • why are they repeating everything he says?

  • In America we no longer have a democracy or capitalism. The democracy was bought by corporations, its not democracy now, its corporate fascism. Bailouts for rich corporations on the back of the working class is NOT capitalism, in capitalism they would have gone bankrupt. Therefore we don't have capitalism, but corporate fascism. Protestors want a restoration of democracy and capitalism. Everyone knows now, debate time is over.

  • communists bastards

  • now this is what we needed. this is how you get the governments attention. all unoions should strike at the same time.. get the tanker drivers(18 wheelers) to strike and the country cant move.. 18 wheelers bring 100% of all fuel consumed in america. stop those trucks.. you stop the government dead in its tracks. as a former driver i can tell you talk of doing this has lingered for a long time.. nows the time to strike!!!!!!

  • These guys shut down the ports and you can kiss all the shit you use goodbye. Toilet paper, food, gas, etc...

  • @TheHossUSMC yep.sad isn't it.

  • @ilovety65 Hey no skin off my ass. I have been prepared for a shutdown for a while now.

  • @TheHossUSMC me too, nice to meet someone who has common sense.

  • Union opportunists. We'll come out and talk about supporting you, but when it gets dark and cold, we will skip on out of here to the comfort of our warm homes. By the way, you will need to pay us for our time at a union wage. What a bunch of scum bags.

  • @Otis9796 So, why don't you ask the local Chamber of Commerce if they need another member? Maybe that way you'll free from what you call "union opportunists". My experience tells me that, the true opportunists are normally found at the top and mid managerial levels of the private dictatorships a.k.a. corporations. Maybe you are one of those reactionaries that can't stand loosing his/hers little private serfdom?!? Get use to it!!

    Solidarity from Portugal!!

  • @theH0UNDSofD00M First of all, learn how to correctly communicate in English. Don't they teach you little socialist how to write. The punctuation goes inside of the quotation marks, Comrade. Unions in the U.S. are corporations. And what great experience do you have that makes you such a wise socialist, it's obviously not education. Please go back to night school and get your G.E.D. Solidarity from Portugal, your county hasn't been relevant for several centuries.

  • hey idiots, morons, fools, u want to see real change? don't pay your local, state, and federal income taxes!

  • @dan2009cnm

Then you will finally get a free home with health care! Behind bars.

  • "The strongest bond of human sympathy outside the family relation should be one uniting working people of all nations and tongues and kindreds".- Abraham Lincoln Thank you longshoreman! "Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if Labor had not first existed. Labor is superior to capital, and deserves much the higher consideration."- Abraham Lincoln Men are born to be free, not to toil their lives for the gain of others.

  • Surprise Surprise Surprise, bunch of union slaves will use this as an excuse not to go to work. Don't any of you get it? You are being used. Empower yourselves and step away from this. No one and I mean no one will remember this. I will be going to work tomorrow.

  • @oldschoolgreentube lol union slaves?..Yes having a say is being a slave.

  • @oldschoolgreentube yeah until your job is sent over seas

  • i hope you don't trip and get a bloody nose.....that would mean all the longshoreman would get bloody noses....that'd be a lot of blood, and the women of this country would run out of tampons to stuff up our faces.

  • the longshoreman are the reason that the chicoms are building their ports in Mexico... commit enough extortion, and people don't hire you. Then you have time to hang out and goof off and whine about ports and international shippers....

  • @sharonjoyfilled yeah they should be like Vietnamese and Chinese longshoremen and not care about getting blown up by improperly maintained shipping containers...They should also lower safety standards and work for a few bucks a day too..

  • Workers of the world unite. Here's hoping a lot comes from these strikes.

  • The people united can never be defeated.

  • Halleluia!

People are finanlly getting the message.

Slow down or stop collaborating to our own chocking. Cause the big man to lose some money and he will come down onn his knees. revolution in Russia helped Europe the most. Tjey rushed and took better care of people, frighted that it would catch on

  • This sounds a lot like a threat directed at the citizenry at large. Expect to be fired, replaced and if youre lucky you wont have the shit beaten out of you by masked men in the dark. If you want to make a statement QUIT BUYING THE PRODUCTS dumb fucks.

  • @DrDissent yeah because just boycotting everything will solve all our problems.

  • Fantastic!!!

  • "anarchists" ..? another misuse of the word anarchist. fucking hell... there's a lot of works on anarchist history and theory that i would welcome everyone to read and become familiar enough with so they understand the words they are (mis)using.

  • let a calm come upon all occupy protestors a calm that will be disciplined to the fullest an overwhelming calm in the face of aggression. let the violent ones only expose themselves and those anarchist will be booted out and exposed let the spririt warriors lead them away from the peaceful ones. let the light shine upon all the aggressors of all nations for their defiecienies be exposed and rocked to it's foundations. That wall will be blowned away as i sound the trumpet loudly.

  • @daggertoungeomega WTF is blowned? you really ought to do a little homework and research. agreement here about use of the word "anarchists". Anarchists were, are, and will continue to be, the heroes. An-archy means without hierarchy...got it? E q u a l i t y, as in freedom and justice, for all...and I do not mean under god, as that also implies a hierarchy. anarchy...as in autonomy, or leaderless-ness.

  • @osho2012 100% of all anarchich movements have ended up as dictatorships. It's another sysstem, like marxism, which looks really good on paper, but is wholly unworkable.

  • @Exmech2 We are already in a dictatorship.. wallstreet. We want the return to rule of law, not rule of wealth

  • @bkraegenbrink

"We are already in a dictatorship"

    Absolute silliness.

  • @Exmech2 Yes we are. The government who we elect have no control over the economy or society.

  • @aikfanat They have control... it's that they have been bought. There's a difference. We definitely need to shore up campaign finace. But there is a stark contrast between the US and Iran, or Syria... actual dictatorships.

Remember, the US is one of the very, very few countries in history where the head of State was forced to resign without one soldier, sword, or rifle present.

  • @Exmech2 Unfortunately, the US you speak of no longer exists. If it did, our last president would have exited office in the exact same manner. War crimes no longer get you impeached. Elections can be manipulated and stolen without consequence. We're certainly not Iran or Syria (yet), but I must say, seeing the way the police behaved against peaceful protesters in Oakland and Denver suggests we're not as far off as myth suggests.

I would define the US as a Corporatocracy (see "Idiocracy")

  • @nrf91 I think it still exists, hiding under the stifling cover of k street and corporate campaign finance. Which is why I'm involved in the movement. Yeah, Oakland was a nasty wakeup, but the action in Portland was telling. No guns, no grenades. While I certainly cannot be called a Bush supporter, I'd point out that claims of war criminality pale due to lack of actual evidence.

  • @Exmech2 I would challenge you to prove that any president within the past century stepped down without an armed cadre of thugs toting concealed submachine guns nearby. Furthermore, I think it is a false-hope to place faith in the electoral processes of our republic which have been precariously broken since at least Eisenhower's farewell address (if not more realistically since the founding of our nation). "Never be deceived that the rich will allow you to vote away their wealth." -L.Parsons

  • @anarchiaetpax Nixon, of course. But I suspect you will fire off some idiocies about the secret service and whatnot. We have the most successful democracy in history. But I also suspect that your thinking is so skewed that you're unable to perform a decent contrast/comparison... but that's your problem.

  • @Exmech2 Ad hominem attacks are always the refuge of the fool who has nothing substantial to say. I was merely pointing out the obvious, that there are in fact always gunslingers hanging around the president. You proceed to call me an idiot, and then claim that we live in a democracy. Do you know what a republic is? You familiar with Premier (formerly Diebold) Election Systems security issues? Keep pandering to the ruling class and acting like your vote matters more than lobbying money.

  • @nrf91 peacfull? going inside banks and throwing shit around and smashing widows? the police have not done their job...these people should have been arrested.

  • @usaf317 Do me a favor. Turn off your TV news and your right wing hate radio and look for the truth. It's out there. The OWS protests have been very peaceful. Unprovoked attacks by police against unarmed, non-violent protesters in NY, Denver and Oakland are well documented. The smashing windows that you speak of were the acts of Black Bloc members who are not in any way connected with OWS. In fact, OWS protesters attempted to stop them but were unsuccessful.

  • @usaf317 And we agree that the window smashers should be arrested. But to use the isolated acts a of a few troublemakers to smear an entire movement suggests you are either uninformed, or you are the verbal equivalent of a window smasher -- one who deliberately does damage to the truth in order to manipulate public opinion.

  • @nrf91 the acts are not isolated.

  • @Exmech2 "100% of all anarchist movements" ? How on earth could you possibly be familiar with all anarchist movements, much less most of them? Over generalizations for the sake of sensation aside, the Zapatistas are organized along lines that are arguably anarchist - they still seem to be fighting the good fight. Industrialized labor in the pacific northwest was largely organized by... oh wait for it... anarchists. Keep enjoying your spoonfed "facts" and propagating your half truths elsewhere.

  • @anarchiaetpax Zapatistas... Zapata...Goevara... Dictators. No different than Pol Pot, Mao, Stalin, Lenin, and I can keep going. Wait for it... anarchistic... is one thing... obviously it wasn't an anarchy. There are a couple of decent anarchies... I saw a pic of the last anarchists in the Amazon... they were trying to shoot down the Cessna with a bow. Of course Somalia is currently the crown jewel of anarchies. Neat system you got there, twit.

  • @Exmech2 So once again you ignore what I posit and then just start off on your own tangents. Brilliant! Too bad the scientific method and logic don't work this way, think of the progress we could make with people like you in charge. Zapatistas != Zapata - they took his name as inspiration from his attempts at land reform; if you weren't aware the Zapatistas are a currently active movement in Chiapas, Mexico. You obviously don't have a clue what anarchism means, nor hvu made any attempt to learn.

  • @anarchiaetpax Umm... yeah... keep thinking that, twit.

  • @anarchiaetpax

    Organized by anarchists? Oxymoron!

  • @trisoma1 The only oxymoron is some one with your ignorance pretending to make a comment on one of the most important labour movements in the history of the last three centuries. According to your, absolutely disorganized and supported by chancers instead of activists like, say, the Wobblies in the US or FAI/CNT in Spain.

Apart from that, anarchism, is a word with such a wide range of meanings, that can only confirm the narrow mindedness of your ill advised comment.
