GREAT LOOKING AIRPLANE !!! I WAS ABOUT TO HIT THE BUY BUTTON ON YOUR WEBSITE, FOR THE SBACH, AND SOMEONE BEAT ME TO YOUR LAST ONE. WHAT ARE THE FLIGHT DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE MX2 AND THE SBACH ?? I AM DEFINITELY ORDERING ONE FOR NEXT YEAR !!! GREAT VIDEOS !!!
Hi Tarmogr, I've sold a LOT of these planes. I haven't had one person have their hinges fail. Most guys complain on the planes that I don't have them pre hinged. Hope this helps!
@RedwingRC Sorry for a little exaggeration. I just would like to set ailerons up myself for 3D. Usually by making the gap a little larger will give more deflection.
Appreciate the explanation. If you have any doubt about how they are set, check out TJ flying this beast of a plane
. They are set for full deflection already. I can personally check your plane to make sure it's set that way, but all of them I've personally seen (as I check some when they are going a long way or a tough path) have been set at full.
what a great job you guys are doing good quailty video very informative love it and finaly flying that model keep up the good work you know what a customer wants boy are you in the ball park with this type of advert
Hey Jonny - Thanks! Glad you like it. I have a guy going electric with it. I can pass on his info if you want.... or maybe he's watching this thread and sees your post and can give you his set up. For gas, I was getting about 12 min. The tank isn't huge, and you could definitly set up a larger one in it. A few extra ounces wouldn't affect it too much, and especially for IMAC.
@RedwingRC You mention the tuned pipe tunnel in the Fuse. Since I'm new to Gas, is that the same as running canisters? A club member runs canister mufflers on his DA 50 and 100 engines and they sound great. That raspy stock weedwhacker sound is annoying to me. Can a muffled canister be installed in this airframe? Thanks.
That looks GREAT! I'm looking to move up to Gas, but I'm also interested in how it performs on electric. I'd like to get something to practice IMAC with so one of the thing I am interested in is flight times. I'd like to get as much practice time as possible per fill/charge. What would the aproximate flight times be for gas and electric? Fantastic model with some great time saving features. Love it.
@jonnyspeed hi, gas uses really small amount of fuel compared to glow small tank and i mean small e.g. weight saving 26cc-30cc 10min flight time at max power. electic well about 6 mins then land check out the animal jesky on dvd all things slick what ever he is performing you will notice on vid that his timer goes off and then he lands.unless noise is an issue stick with gas and theres no going back only my thoughts but have fun but don.t break the bank buying lipos
i think you can fit a baby monkey in that thing

Is it possible to put a pilot in the cockpit because our club recommends having a pilot. LOL

@SuperPianowizard
yes, you can add a pilot in there. The back pops off for access

I almost taught that I'm going to buy this plane. Too bad that it has hinges already glued.

exactly! for running a tuned pipe/canister.

@RedwingRC Awesome! I'm leaning towards the JC 28 gasser. Is there a muffled can available for that engine? Thanks.
