  • thats N0T ''footbaII'' thats AMERICAN HANDEGG u tards cause

    FOOTBALL = the BlG B0SS = number 1 sport in the W0RLD

  • I bet there are less holding calls

  • wow I never knew they had games like this.

USA doesn't care about winning it or we would actually use our good players.

  • @christofferasplund

yeah dude i feel you but im american so of course i expect us to beat ass every time but still i think its pretty cool to see other countries playing american football i just wish more countries played tho hopefully it will get to the level like the soccer world cup that would be awsome

  • As a swedish fan of american football I don't really care if Sweden sucks in this video, it is nice to see that football is on its way to become an international sport. Most people in Sweden for example doesn't know shit about the sport and therefore there aren't many people playing, but the teams that exist keep trying to gain new members and hopefully the sport will grow here too. Some tv channels shows the NFL and that also helps of course. Sorry if my grammar is a bit off ;)

  • @christofferasplund

Most people in America don't know all the details of the sport (particularly the strategy that goes into calling plays), however they enjoy going to games and watching on television. It's played by a lot of people in schools and universities and that helps a lot. I think more people would enjoy the sport if they knew how to play or knew someone who played they could go see in action.

  • You'd think Japan would not be any good...weird, they're pretty good

  • @ABAthe24

Japan is probably among the best international teams I've been seeing. They really can move the ball.

  • This is great seeing football spread to the rest of the world, I don't know bout you guys but this is much more exciting than a bunch of guys kickin a ball around

  • It is gonna be Canada vs. the USA in the finals this year, Canada is underestimated but has been playing football just as long as the US and this is their first year, with some pretty good players, who either play or have played in the CFL (second highest league in the world, where players like Doug Flutie, Warren Moon, Jeff Garcia, and Ricky Williams, etc have all played in

  • I think the US should just make sure the league grows, and teach other nations how to play it professionally, like we can't play till like maybe 2019, just so other nations have a chance and not quit >.<

  • I FUKEN LOVE YOU JAPAN! you guys just do everything there! I didn't know even know about IFAF :P but did some research on it glad to see we have a rival team :S

  • I was there baby! haha it was so cool watching football in Japan and just seeing a tournament with a bunch of countries. Japan is not very big but very fast and very well coached. Can't wait to see gmae clips from the new world cup coming up! I support football in all aspects cause I love the sport....from team USA to NFL to UFL and so on!

  • Hey you sweds, dont u think it's about time to produce more Larsons, Brolins or Kennet Andersons? What about u dans? Dont u think it is about time to produce more Laudrups? Dont waste time with this futureless sport and focus on real football because you aint doing very well lately.

  • that japanese kick returner was fuckign quick

  • waiwaitwait, is USA in this league? i hope soo :D

  • @LOLaZnWaFfL3S they are , and they usually always win , if they dont , canada wins

  • @VoodooSmash Weren't they just invited for that year? This was their first title victory

  • @VoodooSmash Japan usually wins. Since the Canadians can't stock their team with American NFL rejects like they do in the CFL, they never finish very well. (why am I trash talking about a sporting event I learned about 6 hours ago?)

  • @JohnSmithAprilMay Japan only won the first two because the States and Canada weren't there, the States were at the last one and won, Canada will be here for the first time, and I know the CFL is a lot of Americans but there still is a lot of solid Canadians.

  • @golden7323 I'm not sure why I wrote that 4 months ago. I think I seriously invented a Canadian hard luck story to amuse myself, then vomited it on the internet. If I knew Japan won so often, probably thanks to wikipedia, why didn't I know Canada never even played in the event? Anyway, I think this is Mexico's year. Based on nothing, of course.

  • @LOLaZnWaFfL3S

US is >.< but only for college graduates who aren't good enough for NFL lol.

  • u watched the IFAF championship there weren't too many players from the NFL playing.... just like FIBA

  • AMerican Football will get very popular soon

I mean the NFL has a game played in London, and it is a Regular season game that is sold out every year. and a variation of US football is played in Canada with alot of USA players along with Canadians.

I bet that American Football will become an olympic sport around 2026 or 2022

They will be playing Rugby at the 2016 Games (It is in Brazil Right) and if Rugby does well then American Football will be too. So glad there is a world cup for this.

  • @CarpetMuncher1337 it's not about race, it's about sport, WANNABE NAZI

  • If countries in Africa start playing American football, they are gonna get good really fast.

  • This is freakin sweet that other countries play American Football. I really hope it grows. I had no idea that a tournament like this even existed. I really hope I get selected to play in it.

  • @MikeBNumba6

Yes, there is a World Cup of International American Football. The next one will be in Austria sometime between June and July 2011 and it is growing. The IFAF gets more and more countries to sign up with each World Cup. There are about 45 member countries (last I heard) with numbers increasing each year.

  • @richard1972r Ok thanks for the info man. Thats great that it keeps growing.

  • @richard1972r

i want to go play for team china, but there is no team china, so i sad

    :(

  • @yearof07

That's too bad, bro. Maybe if more people watch more games in your country, it will gain more popularity and make a football league like it happened witth Japan.

    Hang tough! :)

  • @yearof07 Dude, you guys would make a great team! I'd love to watch you play! My hands are shaking thinking about it. Baarrreellly type. For real. There's something just so medivel about epic Martial Arts films and warriors in armor. It would be a real honor for Asian ancestry to have non-lethal combat return with all of the enthusiam and excitement your players and fans would deserve. Heck, you probably make all of the equipment in China already; so, it can't be that expensive to start up!

  • @CarpetMuncher1337 Dude, you're an idiot...

  • i relly love usa s team but they have to many collage player

  • @12niceman you need to understand that there are different levels of college football in the US you have Division 1 FBS where almost all pro players come from. Division 1 FCS which is still strong teams but not as strong as FBS teams. then you have Divisions 2 and 3. they players can not be currently playing in college, could not have played division 1 FBS, could not have any affiliation with any pro team, and had to be out of college for less than a year. the majority of the players are 2 and 3

  • @Poptartza ok i know that with the division and players

  • I hope the US plays Japan soon :l i wanna see that or US vs Russia or China

  • @CarpetMuncher1337 no wonder THE JAPANESE OWNED US IN World War when they bombed the fuck out of pearl harbor :) retard stop making americans look bad

  • that guy is good

  • The Japanese are actually pretty good at gridiron football. It's really growing in popularity there.

  • thats awesome,

i think there will be alot of non american players in the NFL very soon just like Sebastian Vollmer

  • USA won, but in 2 Ots. I didn't even know such a tournament existed until an hour ago. American football should be not only A world sport, but THE World Sport. How awesome that there are other countries really getting into the game. It will take time for any of them to be truly competitive, but I really look forward to when they are. American Football truly is the greatest game, once you really get it. This is Great!

  • so did the US win the cup or did Japan since every other team is relatively new to the game.

  • The German National team announced they'll be playing the Japanese national team in the first ever German-Japan Bowl to be held at Esprit Arena in Germany.

The game will be held on April 24th, 2010

  • why talk about the nfl when countries like japan sweden finland are trying to just play the game>>>>>>>>>>>create recognition for american football as a sport>>>>>they'll soon be reaching higher levels just like in baseball

  • where was this played?

  • the IFAF American football world championship took place in Kawasaki, Japan in July 2007

  • July of 2007

  • Kawasaki Japan

  • japan got beat by a bunch of 40 year olds from notre dame..

  • The Green Bay Packers got beat by a 40 year old QB last night.

    So what?

  • The Swedish is too weak. They are small.

  • When the spanish side played (who are crap btw xD) the swedes commited quite a few chop blocking penalties, they prefer to have speed than power and like to chop block to remove people from the game, its the only way they win

  • There are only 8 million Swedes and VERY few of those play American football.

And ice-hockey grabs all the big guys interested in tougher sports.

  • Kinda like our soccer/football (whatever you wish to call it) teams.

  • Poland has about 20 teams up and running woohoo

Now waiting on 13-15 team so I can play

  • hahahaha look at the guy from seweden at 2:24...his arm is deformed lol lol

  • and u think that a joke? i play football too and im in college and i love football so dont make fun of this sports that i loved...

  • JPN VS NFL ?? LOL

  • you know if the NFL players actually played the scores would be like 120-0 or something lol they only have players from like division II and III and rarely d-1 colleges

  • Same with the countries sometimes d-1 but motley d-2 and 3

  • team usa is made up of the best highschool kids they still kickass

  • but you know japan also has players in nfl, so basically their nfl players also probably didn't play

  • They have 1.

  • Japan doesn't have any players in the NFL.

They had one guy try out -- but he didn't make the team.

Japan's still right there though. Real good at football. The Germans are coming along well, too.

  • lol keep in mind USA didnt put in pro bowl players or even D1 college players they played D2 and 3 if pro bowlers played it would be domination city for USA every IFAF

  • @redrover3456 Team USA actually had like 13 D1 players on the roster. Look it up...

  • really? none in nfl? thats surprising, i've seen some incredible runs by some of their teams... funny how a little country like denmark with very little interest in the sport has had a player in the nfl - morten anderson

  • I'm definitely in better shape than #56 on Swedens team. Maybe I can be naturalized!

  • I know American Football isn't that popular around the world but I just dont understand how someone cant find playing football fun.

  • Oh, bless them T-T

  • it is getting there, over 100 teams in the UK, Australia, Japan, and most other countrys having 30+, its the funnest sport ive ever played, people can be put off by all the equipment and there lack of knowledge of the game, nice vid

  • whoops! this is japan vs sweden! my bad on the 1st comment

  • USA 23 JAPAN 20

    2 OT

  • What the hell is this?

  • Detroit Lions practice squad (coached by Matt Millen): 76

    Japan: 0

This is why American/Gridiron football will never be an Olympic sport. USA = pure pwn4g3

  • I'm sure they said the same in 1992 when Michael Jordan and the Dream team obliterated everyone at the Olympics....

We've never been beaten in basketball since....oh wait.....

  • @blade99948 that comment made me laugh for 5 minutes haha

  • imagine the Japanese team taking on an NFL Team

    lol

the NFL Team would beat their asses so bad, they are going to have problems shitting

  • 2007 USA 23 JAPAN 20

    2 OT , USA had a hard time ^_^

  • I meant NFL....

the ones they send over are back ups from NCAA

  • although those guys were like division 2 college....players...so...lol.

  • they seem week to your eyes, but all those players, staff, and fans regardless of nationality are taking part in making american football an international sport

if you love football, you should respect those who are trying to spread this wonderful sport to the world

  • @tailback08 These guys look like American college football teams. No doubt it's because American Football takes a backseat to most other sports in these countries.

  • @tailback08 God Bless You for saying that!

  • disregard my reply X)

  • you guys can all see this team and panama city , mexico , canada , japan , france and usa play the globel world championship right now where in qualifications well my team panama but the the chapionship start 27 of july 2009 in ohio !

  • actually its the Junior World Cup wich beggins the 27 of JUNE.. so looking forward to it!

  • these teams are hella sloppy

  • For north Americans watching this its a joke, put up any College team and they will trash national teams from Europe and asia

  • Actually, the American team is made up of only college players representing all the divisions, not only division 1, and even though they smashed Korea and beat Germany 33-7, Japan dragged the US team into two overtimes where the US barely managed a victory with a field goal kick.

  • Yeah, but that team was far from the best we could have sent over there. Most of the members of the American Team who where from D-1 where either back ups, or just okay players. The rest where from the lower ranks of college. Still, I'm not taking away from their victory, just that we did it with what was essentially a B team.

  • thats what i saw when i watched japan play america...a bunch of our worst players playing japans best

  • they have a world cup???

  • I played for the australian gridiron , i played linebackers for the sydney lions and before that i played for the singapore american school , yes , american football is gaining popularity out of north america , so Gridiron rulez !!!!!!!!!

but Gridiron football is still overshadowed by rugby and aussie rules in the down under .

  • I'm glad you are adding to the excitement of our sport out of the USA, I'm pumped to be able to see it outside of my own country

  • Well there is the CFL in canada, super popular... the level is a notch over college football, but one under the NFL. Only difference is we have 3 downs instead of 4, and the field has 10 yards more with a 20 yard endzone. Special teams hold a more important place, the clock stops after every play 3 minutes before the end of a half. Also in the CFL, the ball is considered live during conversions, so blocked kicks can result in touchdown for the defending team

  • yea i know all bout the CFL some guys i played college ball with that graduated play in the CFL, but i wanna learn about the football league in japan and other countries around the world

  • in belgium we play with the college rules. so does the european leugeu

i play for the -18 all star team of belgium

  • @Ice3422

There is a corporate league called X-League in Japan.

But college football is more popular than the Xleague.

    youtube.com/watch?v=skhDvvdkClY

highlights of Panasonic Impulse vs Obic Seagulls from official Xleague channel.

  • hell yeah, they look pretty good. wonder how they would stack up against americas best college teams. would be cool to watch.

  • 0:35

the dudes last name is japan

  • no in other countries they put the team name on the back of the shirt

  • ok ppl

    i was just joking

  • it was a bad joke though

  • lmao!

  • Team is more important than individual player (smile).

  • btw japan's preety good. but i wonder what would happen if they made a USA team :0

  • There is an American t3am, we won, you can't find any video's on it, because Americans winning AMERICAN football isn't a big deal. The Jappanese have been playing this game since 1936, since it is like team sumo wrestling.

  • OMG this SHOCKED me i swear. i thought the only out of USA am. football teams were the small clubs in belgium and germany and the surrounding countries. NEVER would've thought there were games this big OMG. i must be dreaming =O

  • who watch eyeshield 21 is fun and sick

  • Watching it atm ^^

  • eyeshield21 is awesome, manga's still coming out =)

  • AGREED!!!

  • im happy to see gridiron football being played outta the US and canada. What a dream come true will it be if this sport became in the Olympic Sport. HEY!!! you'll nevr know. the sport of football(not association footy) is growing in popularity

  • this isn't high school, mayo boy.

    japs rock

  • sweden u lost to japan, wow, they look like a shitty high school team

  • The Swedes need horns on their helms!!

  • 日本はすべてを支配する! スウェーデンは吸う!

  • If Sweden is the best,

why did they lose to Japan by 0-48

    and 0-7 to Germany?

At least you (not all the Swedish people)

YOU Mr. DealByDead are the best

... in trash talking, of course LOL

  • HAHAH JAPAN IS THE BEST
