The JSPCA only commented that the locals should have known the croc wouldn't have attacked because that species is docile. Let's throw him in too!!!

However, if bait needed to be used, I would think that a chicken would be preferable to a dog. Also, I will kill mosquitoes sometimes, but I don't kill dogs. Isn't that weird? Somehow I think it's OK to kill bugs on some level, yet I would prefer to just let bigger animals live (unless I want to eat them of course). Humans are interesting.
