I'm Irish and I guess he does sound Irish but trust me there are PLENTY of Irish accents I can easily think of 5 different ones and if you're Irish you'll know what I mean.

My friend Elizabeth is Irish/Icelandic and her dad has a strong accent.

It's quite hard to understand him though so I'm glad Iceland sounds like this.

I think that only a handful of voice actors truly have distinct voices (as to say that even when they change it to extreme levels you can still pick it out very clearly). I realize that this is considered a flaw in the occupation to some degree (because voice actors should be able to mask their voices entirely) but I always have valued and even prefered the individuality and never thought it took away from any of the characters. <3

People use Ireland for TRoI and the island, I do this becuase saying TRoI gets tedious, but I mean them with different definitions.
