I agree that TPTB have mucked up the Nuke storyline over the last year. The Ameera plot was absolutely ridiculous. Still, I cannot give up on this couple because of Jake and Van. Been watching soaps for most of my life and there have been few couples, if any, with as much chemistry as those two. No matter how stupid the writing is, they manage to salvage their scenes to the best of their ability and make me root for Nuke.
