  • This couldn't be more true. I am a not owl and if I stay up too late on the weekends, I get hungry all over again and I want to eat around 9 or 10 pm. I will stay up until 1 or 2 and then get up early and I am just a mess. I have to have 8 or 9 hours and sometimes I have to have naps because I have chronic Fatigue Syndrome (with Fibromyalgia)

  • i needed this video today... I hardly slept last night and soooo tired today.

  • I do find that I am less hungry and a lot more satisfied after eating on days when I've been well-rested. :) It's true. I think because your body is craving some sort of energy source, we are biologically inclined to replace caloric energy with what we didn't get but should have got from our rest.

  • What about tons of sleep? Like 10, 12 hours every day..?

  • @syddogg10 if you're sleeping around 12 hours, you might want to get your iron and vitamin B12 levels checked up (nurse will take a blood test to determine if you lack either of these nutrients). A deficiency in iron and vitamin B12 causes tiredness.

  • Great info Mattie! And as an older gal I can say that getting good sleep really helps lessen menopause symptoms too! Must be that hormone issue you were talking about. Thanks for the great videos, always learn so much from you! Hope you have a Merry Christmas!
