  • Really patience..need a lot of shot to do a small move..so tired.

  • now that is what i call painful

  • dear god, thats amazing

  • 270 frames @ 24fps that produces about 11 seconds of material. All that work for 11 seconds!! Amazing. And not fall for the temptation of cheating or taking a few shortcuts! Cudos to all of them! CUDOS!

  • I love this movie got it for christmas love it

  • When I saw this scene for the first time I was trying to imagine how the hell they'd pulled this kind of stunt off. Well now I know. THESE. GUYS. ARE. GENIUSES.

  • WOW!!! RESPECT!!!

  • hats off to you dude..

  • ur super de freakin duper matey!

  • Shit if I was them I would make a 30 min movie, with barely any movement and conversations, but they went all out ! At the beginning with her looking for the well, the mouse dance, holyyyyy crap ! I respect these people soo much

  • omg I love your life!, seriously <3

  • Makin' up a song about Coraline

    She's a peach, she's a doll, she's a pal of mine

She's as cute as a button

In the eyes of everyone who ever laid their eyes on Coraline

    When she comes around exploring

Mom and I will never, ever make it boring

Our eyes will be on Coraline

  • i absolutly love this scene, how it was made, how it played out, everything =P

  • I love this scene where the other father playes piano :)

  • Wow. That is intense. I have so much respect for anyone who has the patience for that.

  • @PrettyToast completely agreed

  • Amazing... the time being spent for just one frame... he said sometimes 1 hour per frame ! There are 30 frames per second and the 360 shot lasts 9 seconds (270 frames) so around 11 days (non-stop) just for that little scene... Incredible.

The film is really worth watching no only because of the story but also to catch those tiny details. Genius.

  • 24 frames per second in this case, still very many frames though. Damn, one hour sometimes for a frame.. no wonder it's all so perfect!

  • @RobotsHaveFeelings2 - but you forget about month.which they must spent to make all of the models and enviroment.

  • wow they sure have to work so hard to make just one little scene

  • DEDICATION!!!

    Love you, Coraline animators!!
