Really these maps aren't too bad. I'd give liberation about a B because it's too much like wasteland but the castle, the under passage and the statue sort of make up for it. Piazza is great it's really close range and you have play careful and technical to have a good game do id give this map a A-.

Liberation is Wasteland with worse spawns and to much foliage. Wasteland was balanced due to its openness, you could not look everywhere at once so it allowed easy flanking. Liberation has so much cover and so many narrow pathways that a single player can effectively shut down a whole route. Because of the spawn system I am not surprised that around half my deaths are right when I spawn, due to the game spawning me in a snipers line of sight.
It's free man no points u own the maps already just download and enjoy unless u play hc like me in which case you get fucked by iw with this mosh pit bull shit
i don't mind the new maps. i agree w/all the things Bob mentioned. i think i would prefer 4 new maps less often w/Elite over just 2 maps every month, especially if the general public has access just 2 weeks later (i don't know if that's the actual timeline). being able to play 4 new maps a month longer before everyone else would sway some people to get elite and provide ample practice time on the new maps for elite players, giving them a big advantage over non-Elite members 30 days later
And I am think the next two maps they release ... Will be older maps like terminal and highrise or something ... And wouldn't it be cool if they jus like changed terminal a little bit or any older map .. Like make it nght time instead of day time on terminal or highrise
The Striker is the only reason I still play this game. I am going to miss it's beastliness. Yeah I'm sure it's still pretty good but my KDR had almost doubled thanks to this gun and the mags glitch. Not happy at all about the damage nerf either.

I think everyone is hating too much on the maps. First of all, both maps look great. The visuals are vibrant, and the colors are clear and nice. For Piazza, I thought the whole point of the map was to be fast-paced and tactical. Yeah, there are campers, but there are also 4 or 5 ways to every position, so if you play smart, then you won't be dealing with campers that much. For Liberation, which was meant to be a long range map, The point of sniping is not to be seen; perfect for Liberation.
@MUFCFrankie It's so obvious when a stealth bomber is coming, just try to run for cover anyway. even if you saw the stealth bomber on the mini map you ran for cover right? But it is dumb of them for fixing that when they should be fixing the annoying view kick from your teammates stealth bomber. Even a teammates EMP is annoying.

Village is another map ruined by foliage... Half of Village is a village, which is good. The other half is fucking grass and over-used displacements.

I even raged at the lobby - "If you want to play Dome so bad then why the hell are you in this playlist?" I'm missing the old playlists that are *just* the new maps - much better than having a 1-in-9 chance of playing what you want.
Liberation (C-) is fun for domination, but sucks for TDM (camping WHORES).
@SomebodyHated Why not have both playlists? One that has just the new maps, and another playlist that has them integrated. When new maps come out I typically like to play the heck out of them for a couple hours, and then play a mixture of old+new.
@Searchman212 lmfao! it was a glitch where if you turned on a color blind assist option in the menu, for some reason you could see stealth bombers (even enemy ones) when they came onto the map, and you could easily avoid them. I've been using it accidentally for awhile, and only figured it out because he talked about it in this video xD It was nice while it lasted!

I pretty much agree with everything you said. This was so annoying I played black ops for a while. I spent so much time and effort getting damage and extended mags for the spas 12 just in time for the spas to be nerfed...
In black ops 2 they should make the game more expensive but the map packs free, then people aren't seperated anymore. I know some people wouldn't buy the game at all anymore but It will get better for the players who do have it. Less lagg, not only playing tryhards, more chance to join a good game (in black ops I bought all of the map packs and I could hardly join any mercenary mosh pit (which is my favourite game type) And people won't share the maps anymore. Now 5 people just pay €15 together
i think the spas-12 got buffed (i don't know about all the other shotguns except for striker, which is still pretty good) im getting with the spas a lot more one shot one kills and stuff, it's worth atleast trying it out after the patch

I have an OP weapon, I should not be going negative, NERF the STRIKER! It's the only USABLE SHOTGUN that will stand a chance against PP90M1, Type 95, and FMG-9... and the glitch for extended mags gives you 50% more pellets made the other shotguns bearable. Now it's patched. IW should buff up all the shottys.

@BobLoblaw1978 I agree that the playlist segregation sucks. Last night I was pissed to see people voting for Dome over the new maps. I even raged at the lobby - "If you want to play Dome so bad then why the hell are you in this playlist?" I'm missing the old playlists that are *just* the new maps - much better than having a 1-in-9 chance of playing what you want.
Liberation (C-) is fun for domination, but sucks for TDM (camping WHORES).
Piazza (B+) I have no complaints with thus far.

@SomebodyHated Why not have both playlists? One that has just the new maps, and another playlist that has them integrated. When new maps come out I typically like to play the heck out of them for a couple hours, and then play a mixture of old+new.

@Searchman212 lmfao! it was a glitch where if you turned on a color blind assist option in the menu, for some reason you could see stealth bombers (even enemy ones) when they came onto the map, and you could easily avoid them. I've been using it accidentally for awhile, and only figured it out because he talked about it in this video xD It was nice while it lasted!

I pretty much agree with everything you said. This was so annoying I played black ops for a while. I spent so much time and effort getting damage and extended mags for the spas 12 just in time for the spas to be nerfed...

In black ops 2 they should make the game more expensive but the map packs free, then people aren't seperated anymore. I know some people wouldn't buy the game at all anymore but It will get better for the players who do have it. Less lagg, not only playing tryhards, more chance to join a good game (in black ops I bought all of the map packs and I could hardly join any mercenary mosh pit (which is my favourite game type) And people won't share the maps anymore. Now 5 people just pay €15 together

i think the spas-12 got buffed (i don't know about all the other shotguns except for striker, which is still pretty good) im getting with the spas a lot more one shot one kills and stuff, it's worth atleast trying it out after the patch

@JJB22109 Because that's what happens when bitches complain about getting killed by a shitty weapon while they are using type 95, acr etc... When they die they think WTF? I have an OP weapon, I should not be going negative, NERF the STRIKER! It's the only USABLE SHOTGUN that will stand a chance against PP90M1, Type 95, and FMG-9... and the glitch for extended mags gives you 50% more pellets made the other shotguns bearable. Now it's patched. IW should buff up all the shottys.

Im an xbox player who didnt buy elite and glad i didnt as well!!! And the fact they make it so PS3 users who bought elite have to wait is ridiculous, roll on Treyarchs game
