  • Hey, I just made this, super easy and I finally had a use for the dried chilies that I've had laying around! When I was finished I see its more of a hot sauce that you were add to cooking or dips. I was hoping to make garlic chilli sauce to pour over steamed wontons! Regardless, it's good and easy and since I like a lot of heat I'll definitely use it. Question; how long will it keep? Thx

  • Hello

Wow. I love this chili sauce recipe. Tastes fabulous.I tried adding a little soy sauce and it really made the recipe. Thanks ! I love your channel. Please keep making videos.

  • 10 whole peppers ??? Its inedible ! I can barely tolerate when i put a 1 inch piece ! But 10 ? You will DIE from that !

  • @2035105 : We'd suggest adding less into the dish and compensating the flavor with extra soy sauce and some sugar or brown sugar....hope that helps :(

  • I made myself a sauce, but i think i exagerated with the chilli, and it's too spicy.

  • garlic gives me gas

  • hi can i use the chili that has been juice extracted? meaning im only using the chili skin and seeds and a bit of juice since it has been already extracted from the hot sauce plant.

and one more thing to add. do i have to roast the chili first to get it dry?

thats all thanks and GOD BLESS

    Good show by the way

  • @pinoykingcobra : Yes, you can use that. If the chilli is fresh, you do not need to roast it to dry it...you can skip that step.

  • @ShowMeTheCurry : thank you very much for the reply show time. ill inform you

as soon as i make them. more power to you guys..thank you again and GOD BLESS

  • hi.. plz tell me if there is a substitute for seaseme seed oil? can v use canola oil and add seaseme seeds to the grinder?will it work? plz doooooo rep . i wud b grateful :)

  • @whattheworldiscomin2

Due to it's strong and distinct flavor, there really is no good substitute for sesame oil. You can definitely use canola oil but you will miss out on the flavor. It takes a lot of sesame seeds to produce a very little amount of oil so adding some sesame seeds to the blender will not work.

  • @ShowMeTheCurry thank u for ur quick reply :))))). like ur way of presentation very much.keep it up .Fahad

  • Great sauce recipe. You can also make your own sauce creations with Lee Kum Kee brand sauces. We carry a Sesame Oil that's quite tasty.

  • hi....... plz say me that for how many days i can preserve this sauce.

  • @guddyneeta

Since it has quite a bit of oil, the shelf life is very long...easily a month or so. Store it in the refrigerator.

  • These gals know how to cook!

  • Out of all the videos to make a chinese chilli recipe this is the best. Top marks

  • can you use fresh chilies?

  • @kasater123 : We have never tried it with fresh chillies, but if you do, please do give us your feedback.

  • sezamie oil bwaaaahhhhhh..... =o~~~

  • What type of grinder is that? It looks like something I'd like to buy.

  • We carry similar grinders at our Kitchen Store on our website.

  • This is the great and quick receipe.

I would like to know that we can use canola oil or penut oil instead of sesame oil.

  • You can use other oils, but you'll lose out on the flavor of sesame oil. Also, if you choose to use another type of oil, don't allow it to smoke -- just heat it.

  • I have so many different types of dried chilies at home from the garden; I mix several types for their unique flavors and heat level. This recipe is great for that mix of peppers. Thanks!

  • Very nice recipe. Very easy to store and use it for making a quick Chinese. Thanks for showing wonderful dishes.

  • great idea! what's the shelf life on this?

  • As long as there is a oil floating on the top, it will last a while about 2-3 months in the refrigerator. But the longer you store it the spice level goes down.

  • Nice

  • Your movements are precise and diction excellent. A raw beginner can very easily follow the receipe.

    You are doing excellent work

  • Nice one. :)
