Hello. So, this video was all just an act?! I was 13 yrs old & in Junior High when this song came out. I thought I remember MTV saying that this really happened. The lead singer Mary Beth, looks like and sounds like Chrissie. Its scary. Thats 60 mile drive from Manhattan (90 mns). The Police band , Invisible Sun are also playing that same night.

Chrissie Hynde is one of the finest female rockers or rockers in general around, but some people spouted off about her being the best over some other rock-n-roll chicks. First, no female singer can touch Ann Wilson's of Heart rock vocals. True, Heart may have been too commercial--and the truth is that it has always been cooler to like the Pretenders than Heart or Pat Benatar. To me, Chrissie's vocals reminds me of a female Dylan a lot--and with her harmonica here.
