you don't have to make a dual ^^

when you want to "pandora" it hold the L button down when the device is starting but when don't hold it down then the device starts in normal mode

lol whats the point? I made a pandora and there is an eboot you can put on your mem stick to make pandora work as normal. so i just leave my bigger memstick work as nromal and in case i brick my psp all i need is to use the mem stick with unmodded files.

and then hacked the psp and put the eboot on the memory stick to make it normal or does that only work if you have a hacked psp and used a eboot to make the pandora battery?

dude, the cut is optional however it allows the hard mod'd battery to function normally, you can of course just completely bypass the whole thing and create a permanant pandora's battery, but who in their right mind would? i mean, wouldn't if be nice to have the option to go back at any time, or unbrick/downgrade a m8's PSP while your at a PSP WLAN party or something?

I just want to know if we need to open the battery and cut the thing they tell us to,to make it a pandora battery or can we just install the pandora coz i saw some instructions in the internet and they dont mension anything to cut or open any battery.Plz, if someone can help me i would really appreciate it. @pepsicola, That would be the one where you get a friend with CFW to install, time machine/ pandora battery maker or something like that, to switch the eeprom on the battery off. No cuts involved but the PSP needs CFW to do it.

Yep, that USB is for programming the Undulited Platinum Modchip which this PSP has got inside.

The author said it in spanish a few comments before

this still does need a magic memory stick but programs not can make it without homebrew capable psps

and that is a hardware mod so a non homebrew psp can do that

w\e nvm anyways i already got a pandora battery + magic memeory stick.

i used my friends 2.71 PSP to make it. from going to HEN and devhook 4.0X Laucher or w\e its call and running 1.50 Homebrew for temp while making it. and it works! :D

to dgnmaster65: it doesnt show the pandora screen because there is a normal memory stick and not the "magic" one so only the power led goes on.
