Well that's what the douche gets for getting up on stage. Fair enough, what Rob G was doing didn't suit the scene, but there's nothing wrong with trying new things, albeit he could've gone a better way about it. People need to remember that he meant well in trying to mix things up, he just did a poor job executing it.
The problem was that the music "we" expected, wasn't the music he played.
They anounced him as Rob G feat. Kurtis Blow, not Rob G feat slipknot and Pantera.
Besides that, the sound quality in the Amsterdam Arena was terible. We didn't hear a bass-drum on the field (the radio-recording didn't sound that bad.) If the sound would've been better mixed out, and would onely have taken 'bout 25 minutes, I think they'd got away with it.
If they'd want a cross-over, they'd better booked Aux Raus!!

ID&T Booked Slipnot & biohazard for the show and the crowd didnt like it. the majority of the arena staged a sit down in protest and they had to begin the megamix to early.. hope that helps

Anyone who went to Limelight back in the early days of Gabber knows that Rob Gee was the shit. Whether he belonged at Sensation Black may have been questionable, but his skills as a hardcore DJ are undeniable. Wrong venue, wrong event maybe, but the man practically brought hardcore to the rave scene before there ever even WAS a rave scene in the USA

Well that's what the douche gets for getting up on stage. Fair enough, what Rob G was doing didn't suit the scene, but there's nothing wrong with trying new things, albeit he could've gone a better way about it. People need to remember that he meant well in trying to mix things up, he just did a poor job executing it.

The problem was that the music "we" expected, wasn't the music he played.
They anounced him as Rob G feat. Kurtis Blow, not Rob G feat slipknot and Pantera.
Besides that, the sound quality in the Amsterdam Arena was terible. We didn't hear a bass-drum on the field (the radio-recording didn't sound that bad.) If the sound would've been better mixed out, and would onely have taken 'bout 25 minutes, I think they'd got away with it.
If they'd want a cross-over, they'd better booked Aux Raus!!
