the headlights on my girlfriend's '07 mazda6 suck, they are as dull as shit and there's like a shadow in the right lens. im trying to figure out if this is usual, i doubt she wants to spend like 400 dollars on a new headlight
No, they were his low beams. They are throwing insane amounts of light on the ground where lights should be . Look at his cut-off at
0.16. If they were high beams the cutoff would have been higher. If they were the aftermarket drop-in with the rebased bulbs, it spits less light on the ground and the distance where you want it while throwing more in places that you don't (oncoming driver's eyes, rear view mirrors and the windows of high rise buildings.
