  • "THORPY"

  • 30-60-90 was originally by Willie Mitchell in the 60's,but I think the version in the film could be Jean Jacques Perey,as he did it in 1970.

Check out the thug named Peter,in the brown leather, blond hair and big sunglasses, recognise him? He was Camp Freddy in the Italian Job,and George Sewell,Peters accomplice, you will recognise from Sci-Fi series UFO,and,of course as Cottom in The Detectives comedy series!

  • This the first time I have heard 30-60-90 outside of the film of course!

The night club is still standing although with several name changes since 1971 - I have a film of it on my channel.

The toilets are from Newcastle Airport as those inside were ineffective for the desired effect!

  • It's Big Beat Nite!

  • Cheers guys.

Keep an eye out for my new band Trampled Underfoot coming soon

  • Nice effort, gutted it wasn't on soundtrack album. Was it not a roy budd tune?

  • @stanleykneecap it was done by Jack Hawkins (the Jack Hawkins Big Beat), Jackie Mitoo also did a version with a dog barking away in the background. The 'Carter' version is available on vinyl but is a tad rare.

  • 1.46 What's on the site now (where the cars are parked)

  • @Strawberry7Lynn It is now the site the Gateshead Bus Interchange and Metro station. The side Carter throws Brumby off faces western Gateshead, eventhough it is actually the eastern side he is shown as to have landed on.

  • superb!

  • the lower brass stabs seem to have gone missing from the mix....
