I love herping and i live in Sterling heights MI and was wondering what time of year and where this video was shot at in michigan also any ideas on finding a salamander in the woods and what time of day to go would be awesome i wanna take some pictures of one for my photography class thanks and sweet video

Great video! I went herping yesterday and I got some lead-back morph red back salamanders. I would've tried to get some videos of frogs a the vernal pools, but I forgot my good shoes...anyway, great pictures at the end. 5/5

Excellent video! Great footage. I just got done filming some peepers tonight. They are harder than the chorus frogs in my opinion. Awesome job. If you get a chance, seeing some wood frogs call would be interesting.

Great video and awesome photos! You're right, getting frog call videos can be quite hard to get. The American toads around my neighborhood aren't too bad, though.
