It makes absolutely no sense that this kid is being kept from his father. I'm a proud Brazilian living in the US for 17 years, but patriotism like so many see it cannot take place over common sense and what's right. In fact, a patriotic person would support the right thing, regardless of your background.
I remember Elian Gonzalez and the horror it was to finally get things done right. It is time for the Brazilian government to follow suit and do the right thing. Let this kid go home to his dad

There should be a petition to stop so many things (including in the U.S.A), but Jesus will return and judge EVERYTHING in God's righteousness.
