  • Respect.

Can you build me an autonomous T800 endoskeleton terminator robot?... just kidding... Unless you can do it?!?! O.O

  • don't make him too smart or he'll take over the world. you have been warned

  • Freaking awesome.

  • The WHEELS needed servos? What the heck did this toy even DO before you did anything to it? *lol*

  • that is so werd

  • cool

  • What programming language/program did you use?

  • Can I buy one? If I can, where? How much is it?? plz answer

  • this is awesome

  • If I ever made something like this I would have totally yelled EUREKA, and laughed like a mad scientist....

  • Dj Sures, Wall-e aquired just waiting on delivery. What servos did you use on wall-e?and the head rotation is great on yours. how much code crunching time did it take?

  • @DetMcNichols Hey dude! Great to hear :) .. There are details on the ez-robot website i think? Either that or my djsures dot com website. I forget :D ... The original code was a lot of C and assembler but now all my robots are using the EZ-B so it doesn't take any code at all .. Let me know what u come up with!

  • @aliencurv I'll keep you posted as I progress on it.

  • I Love you. Thank you so mutch

  • please Dj Sures, tell us the name of your song playing in the background of that video. I can´t find it ob your homepage. Its so nice... i like your style

    Sunny.

  • @FpvFreak Hey Sunny, the song is called Twenty Six and is in the Circuit Tree album

  • Does it clean too? cause that would be sweet! then I wouldn't have to clean ever again!

  • I want one!

  • @mochameggy visit ez-robot and make one :)

  • You definitely did a nice job on it but I was wondering which store did you buy the wall e that you started with; with the wired remote control?

  • @birthdayon23 no remote control. it's a small wall-e that didn't actually drive. it only moved it's arms and head when you pushed a button, but did not drive. i also modified a larger wall-e toy with my ez-b and it originally drove, but it's a different shell then this one. this shell is actually quite tiny.

  • @aliencurv But how did put the servos on the tank treads to make the robot move, were the tank treads not just glued together with the wheels?

  • @birthdayon23 Visit my website w w w . dj-sures . c o m and go to Photos, and do a search for wall-e. Look in Wall-e Part 2, it has pictures of my modifications

  • w0ah.....EhhhhhhXellent. especially the programming & 2d Map...dude u kick butt0x.

Amazing how D!sney svcked sooooo bad at their toy yet some homemade mods & a little work & ur version makes me think of the movie,, wwwooohhooo, ALSO cool to see DR Who's K-9..!

  • AHHH! ITS ALIVE!!!!! O_O

  • Yeah I have one and it is boring as hell. If you're gonna get one get the Eve too, or just mod it.

  • You rock man.

    Incredible job

  • good thing you did, tricked it up and made it much better!

  • yo how much for it

  • its cinda scary

  • i really love your invention wall-e

  • where did you get the compiler for the c program? I know where to get one or the x86 language, but not for microcontrollers

  • Nice!! You should add solar panels so that he can charge himself like in the movie!

  • you should add the laser he has in the moive and program him to pop balloons!

  • bello piace anche a mio figlio di 2 anni e mezzo ciao

  • YU made yur own Ultimate Wall-E! That's amazing.

  • very cool. nice job. it would be even better if he picked up stuff hahah

  • @goatsuck123 yeah, this isn't like walle, he should be looking at stuff, and playing with it

  • COOL!!!I wil pay you 3,000 dollars for that!!But I dont have it but when i do.....i wont do anything LOL!!!! Good job

  • Very lifelike. Although the blue eyes give it a CyberController look...

  • nice. how long did it take you?

  • Have you thought about buying the larger version of Wall-e and remaking it to be more functional?

  • I wanna make one of these for my 3-year-old stepbrother some day. He loves Wall-e.

  • your a genuis

  • can you make one remote controled..like RC cars..!

  • Can you buy a big wall e toy? I would like the make a wall e PC case. Of course it would not move like the one in the video.

I would only have the head move and tilt but would be coll if it did that and said wall e when it starts up. Which of course you could simply do with the OS of the computer.

  • i have a 6 yr. old sister who has this exact same toy & yours is SOOO much better!! there's just 2 things that bother me about it, though: (1) it still makes the same noise as the original, but i'm sure that's not your fault (2) kids will be interested if they see the wire at the back of wall-e's head & could hurt themselves. otherwise, it's a pretty cool toy. good job =)

  • Kudos! And LOL at the K-9! Gotta love it :D

  • You should make more of these n sell em. :)

  • If you made more of those and sold them, I bet you'd make some amount of cash. :P

  • man thats smart! u need to teach me =)

  • Now just make an anti-gravity, hovering EVE complete with artificial emotions and plasma cannon and you're set! Don't bother genetically engineering a ship-full of fat people, though.

  • We already have those...I think that they are called "Cruise Ships" or "Cruise Liners" :D

  • this is sweet!

  • 1:18 OMG!!! 0_0 =)

  • yes, i can elaborate and I elaborated.

  • explain your comment

  • hahaha you only control with the comand!! nice fake

  • can you elaborate please

  • it would be totally cool if u make scenes from the movie..... with the real wall-e. or maybe a parody or sumthing

  • realy realy cool man this is amazing 5***** and realy good job

  • Amazing work.

If you ever want to build a full scale WALL-E follow the link in my channel.

We have the most accurate drawings on the internet.

    Scot

  • can you email me the code for this?

  • LOL. u are a funny guy. thumbs up for you, mate.

  • omg thats liike soooooo awsome!

  • wow thats realy kool ... if u ever want to make some money let me know?

  • lol . doesn't everybody?

  • lol, i would be scared if i med that creature in the dark

  • awesome! Great work dude, i planned the same.

But honestly, other than for the sport of doing it, its a heck load of work and after you bought the parts (especially sensors, servos and battery) you were probably at the price of a cheap wall-e toy (not the ultimate one of course) where you could have replaced the brain and use the given "infrastructure"

but very nice results, im planning similar stuff!

  • you need to find a way to make movements a bit smother, and then you got a complete winner, but thats awesome none the less

  • that was sooooo awesome ! you should sell it back to the company to re-make it ! LOL.

  • That's the most amazing thing I've ever seen, is really cool, maybe I could get a chance on doing something like that, but maybe for school.

    as im a Mechatronics student

  • ahh, dremel... a man's best friend.

  • wow, this is amazing, what PIC did you use?

  • wow! great work man, i like it

  • you are a WALL*E GOD!!! you should have people pay you to "fix" their WALL*E's

  • Dude that has got to be one of the most creative mods I have ever seen!

Is there any kind of template of code we can start from to build software like that as well?

I updated my Interactive R2D2 from Hasbro, check out my videos on it and let me know what you think.

  • Very cool, but wondering why you didnt try modding the large wall-e toy instead of the small one. I will admit however the little one does have an extra cool factor for being so tiny and yet do so much. but just curious.

  • because i didn't know there was a larger one . i didn't plan on modding it . i randomly saw it and bought it .

  • can u mod a wall e for me and send it to my house ill pay

  • That is awesome man. After i saw the movie i got interested in robotics myself for some reason :)

    Consider open-sourcing those 1k lines :P

  • thats the same for me, i love robots after seeing it, i have my own modded wall-e named cordell

  • MY BRO SAID THAT THIS IS CREEPY

  • OKAY THANK YOU FOR YOUR FEEDBACK

  • wow

  • lol 1,000 lines of code

  • here come the trolls

  • Very cool, but he seems obnoxiously noisy.

  • thanx. the noise might be amplified by the quiet room and being close to the camera. But tell you what, when you build yours show me a video, k?

  • This is so AWESOME, I wish that I could do something like that.

  • you are a genius

  • well done!

asuming the wall-e and K9 are built with the same DNA, you have developed quite a versatile robtic platform there!

  • thanx dude! wicked feedback

  • That....is.....awesome....did you use forums to acquire the knowledge necessary to pull this off? Books perhaps? Maybe even school? I have been programing for quite awhile through books, and this is definitely an interesting new aspect for me. Thanks for any replies.

  • imagination :)

  • possibly one of the most amazing things i've ever seen. just awesome and adorable... wonderful job. I wish I was this smart.

  • Great job! Amazing! I'm thinking of doing something like that myself, just don't really know how to program a microcontroler so I'm thinking of patching a small notebook on it to drive it directly by serial cable :p Also got a bunch of old stepper motors from a minolta copier, think that would work as the first project?

  • Maybe in the future, people might make things like this. I hope they sell it like that in stores :D!

  • CONGRATULATION!FANTASTIQUE

  • Can't be too long until someone creates a Wall-E robot that can interact and learn and whatnot like from the movie =3

  • You truly are a mechanical genius! Are you going to buy Ultimate Wall-e and modify that too?

  • Thanx man!

I think the ultimate wall-e ($250) is too expensive to modify . Unless disney is willing to donate me one ;)

The Servos and Sensors already cost an additional $100, plus my time

  • ill buy, 100$

  • thanx :) .. now i need another 1,000 ppl like you!

  • I would buy it too. Are you considering doing it to sell?

  • i will buy it

  • why cant they make toys like this anywayz, kids would love it.

  • i always wonder the same

  • Very cool.

  • would be funny if he developes a personality of his own and becomes a psychopathic mass murderer. :D "WALL-E ANGRY!" xD

  • i'll buy it from you!!!!

  • I'm planning to buy the official Ultimate model. It will be interesting to see how it holds up to your home grown version. Nice work man.

  • I thought that was pretty spiffy, then I saw K-9 in the background and totaly creamed my jeans!

  • VERY nicely done! that really is awesome!

what's the song playing in the background? it's pretty catchy.

  • ahhh never mind, watched the video to the end and found out who it's by. :P

i really like your music for playing in the background while i work. i needed something that's not intrusive but still doesn't let me get bored, and yours fits that bill great. thanks!

  • u should make the eyes move seperately like in the movie , RIGHT . LEFT . RIGHT . BOTH BOTH

  • awesome!

  • you need a metal! this is amazing! what do you plan on making next?

  • what a cool Video , and well fair play to for this mod to wall-e . he has been brought to life . cool

  • Really cool! Props to your idea, what will be the next step? adding a cam and making a gripper with servos? But anyway, really cool^^

  • thank u! .. no more changes to that body . i might consider making a larger one . he's way too small for any more additions (in total 6" tall)

  • sooooo cute!!!!!!!

  • Really good. Just stumbled to your post on Trossen and then clicked through till I found this video ... awesome job mate.

  • thanx dude!

  • Ah, you deleted the other video. You remember me I hope, we talked a lot about your K9 and my Hydra :) Using an 18F4685 is an overkill, because you're not using lotsa pins, and if you're talking speed an 16F876A @ 20MHz could do the same with its ADCs, right (saves space? I dunno, when I use a big PIC, I at least tie those unused ports to an IDC-10 (8 for pins, 2 for 5V and GND) for further development, just an advice)? Very good job, though, don't get me wrong. Arms are too fast, come on now ;D

  • did you notice that i have my custom pcb's printed that host the 4685? i have a few dozen of those boards for my projects . i'm not going to have smaller boards designed and printed . if i don't use all the pins, oh well

i'm okay with the speed of the arms

  • Fine, fine... do as you wish ;)

You put it up here for people to see, so you should be open to criticism and advice right?

  • i'm only responding to your criticism

the chip and board fits nicely in the case

  • I still gave you 5 stars, you must be an Aries like me...

  • lol, close. pisces :)

  • That's my rising ;)

Have a good one mate ;)

  • Really, really good improvement.

Now, to build an EVE with an actual blaster gun... You can do it ;)

  • lol thanx!

    u are right .. he'll eventually need a pal!

  • This is great man. I'd love to do a project like this some day.

  • cool man

  • This is a GREAT job, really!

  • are you double E? I used to know how to program Motorolla HC-12 from school, did a simular robot brain out of it. Very nice work, you can use this for school project, hehe.

  • no i'm not an engineer . thanx for the compliment on my wall-e :)

  • :O r u a genius???

this is amazing... its an actual robot!!!!

    WOW

i think that you will be the 1 that goes down in history for createing robots that are actually...ALIVE!!!

  • thank you :) that's really nice!
