I liked this line up.Love this song. Thought Alex Ligertood was excellent. Didn't like some of the material from around this time so much- better before and since - but still loved them live. Saw this lot at Hammersmith in 87. Much better than June 2008 at O2 where it was crap.

q2w3bn876 its true, the concert i saw was rubbish, no samba pati, europa, is it possible not to play these songs, or even up to date somewhere in heaven or victory is one!! i was almost front row and what a dissapointment, didnt even have the yellow prs santana, he had some shite pink one and then a gold top prs santana. My friend it was ALL WRONG.
No, he is not dead (thank, God) - it's just that Carlos doesn't play solos like these anymore and the sound on his guitar is more muddy these days - that's why I miss the style of playing that he is displaying in this clip. Crystal clear and varied soloing.
Carlos as we know and miss him - great sound on the PRS - he's not the best singer, but surely knows how to pull some great sounding playing from the guitar.
and, at 6:00, there goes a string...
