You can watch my videos of rottweiler protection on my page. Its my dog and i have had it almost 10 years now. When we (me and my dog) started the training he realized the "joke in the thing" stright away. But I can say that theres lots of dogs that can bite stronger than a rottweiler. But rottweilers bite force is enought srtong to do some pretty good damage! Now I have a caucasian shepherd dog and soon we will start the training with him. I bet he will bite stronger than mine old and wise rot.

Don't have to train a Rotty to protect, it's instinct. Training them to attack and putting it online just gives the breed a bad name. They are a fantastic family dog, I train mine to be soft as sh*te but a video of that wouldn't make me look like a hardman. Apart from that, if I did that out front in public here in the UK, I would be arrested and rightly so.

Ok, to all the people saying Rottweilers are better temered than Pit Bulls: bullshit. My sister was attacked by our neighbor's dog last October for simply trying to help the 86 year old lady get the dog back on the chain after it chewed its way off the WIRE. The dog bit through her arm, broke it in half and now she's got a plate with 9 screws in her arm. We've raised pitts all our lives, not one has ever bit anyone, let alone viciously attack a helpful neighbor he's known for over a year.

Bulldog bite was 305 lbs

Wild Dogs bite force was 317 lbs

Rottweiler bite force was 328 lbs

Wolf bite force was 406

Mastiff (test dog was a Dogue de Bordeaux) was 556 lbs

I used to have a rottweiler named Kaizer. He was a big baby lol wouldn't hurt a fly. They really are beautiful dogs and if trained well can be great protectors and gentle family pets.

Ah ah... That's wrong buddy.. Rotties are the strong biters in it's class (Large breed). Bite force: ~327 pounds.

In Giant breeds there is Mastiff with ~520 pounds bite force.

Wild dogs have near 420 pounds bite force

Bullmastiff- 535 pounds per square inch Kangal was like 743. A wolfs bite is 401 , as a defense bite.(Probably not there hardest)

Rottys-328 i think it is. Im sorry to ruin your day about the facts i just put down but there true. But i do agree with something you would probably agree with :) its that i have a bullmastiff and a rotty and i love them aLOT ;D
