It is unfair to criticize someone opposed to public transit for taking public transit. They've already paid for it, they may as well use it. It's not like they can get a refund on their taxes by refusing to use it. In order to be a public OPTION individual citizens must have the right to opt out, they sign a waiver agreeing not to use public transit and in exchange get a tax reduction equal to the amount of their tax bill which subsidies public transit. Otherwise it's a stacked deck.

My maternal grandparents were Puerto Rican federal employees at Roosevelt Roads, and they went from being dirt poor to being instantly middle class in a few short years after being hired by the US government. They were patriotic God fearing Roman Catholics. My father was a union member himself as a teacher, and the union was there for him when he had a conflict being incited by a nasty student back in 1982.

It is unfair to criticize someone opposed to public transit for taking public transit. They've already paid for it, they may as well use it. It's not like they can get a refund on their taxes by refusing to use it. In order to be a public OPTION individual citizens must have the right to opt out, they sign a waiver agreeing not to use public transit and in exchange get a tax reduction equal to the amount of their tax bill which subsidies public transit. Otherwise it's a stacked deck.

@Thorbi1983 mandatory liability insurance is un constitutional. it uses "speculation" to "prove" that i WILL get into an accident and it WILL be my fault. all with out proof of any kind let alone the FACT that the STATE has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that i have commited the crime...the one i havnt commited yet. none of that would stand in a court of law. now making someone who ALREADY got into an accident get liability is another story. they have proven themselves to be wreckless.

@markbotv3 You do realize that Scott Brown ran against a Black man Jack Robinson and the Black man only got 11% of Republican votes compared to Brown who got 89% of the votes. Compared to 2000 when he ran against 6 others and still got 13%. Proof Conservatives are racists. Nothing to be proud of in that win.
