@JerkinShit 64 bit makes it harder to put orchestrated music in, it is possible, and they did sometimes, I guess nintendo didn't really have the idea back then to put orchestrated music in a mario game., they didn't until supermario sunshine.

Fact is, that sound channel wasn't used for music, and many of that MIDI bs don't even use properties that the NES did not support, and used way more than 5.

Fair question, I should have incorporated the SM64 in there as well. The reason for the SMG box art is it's based on the SMG version.. but not many people would have noticed anyway.
