  • Cant believe that someone funded this shit

  • Mass production? IPO? LOL. Don't know any insurance company wish to underwrite the risk. Also, aerodynamic save energy, this thing doesn't. After airborne, you need wings.

  • PEOPLE WHO TYPE ALL CAPS ARE RETARDED.

  • looks like brilliant fun

  • So what's going to save you from falling 100 feet .

  • GLEN MARTIN PLEASE CONSIDER TRYING OUT A PARAMOTOR TYPE HARNESS .ITS SAFE AND MORE COMFORTABLE.

  • HELLO. WATCHED THE VIDEO. AND IAM VERY IMPRESSED.I FLY A PARAMOTOR AND THE HARNESS WE USE IS SOMETHING THAT MARTIN JETPACK PLEASE CONSIDER..WHEN WE TAKE OFF FOR A SHORT TIME WE RUN THEN HANG BY THE CROTCH STRAPS .FOR A SHORT TIME ITS OK.WHEN ONCE AT SAFE HEIGHT WE SLIP INTO THE HARNESS. WE USE A KICK IN STRAP. NO NEED TO TAKE HANDS OFF TOGGLES IN YOUR CASE THE HAND CONTROLS.IF U USE THIS TYPE OF METHOD IT WILL BE MORE COMFORTABLE.THEN WHEN LANDING PILOT CAN SLIP OUT OF HARNESS AND USE LEGS. :0)

  • @TONYPARAMOTOR SO I HEAR YOU LIKE ALL CPAS, EH?

  • @fuzzyhead562 EH?

  • Where do I sign up for volunteer testing of this :)

  • nasecito unos de esos aparatos.....para no llegar tarde al trabajo

  • i won't one off those

  • they have dont have rights to play movie soundtrack music

  • Rocket activated parachute won't do you any good at less than 1,000 feet -- which is likely where most people would travel.

    But, I like it!

  • The chinese are going to steal the plans, make it faster and cheaper and crush your dream...

  • HE TOLD YOU SO!

  • yawn , they use the Thomas Scherrer LRS unit ! same one we use for FPV

  • Wow that is crazy, but you won't ever see me in one of those that's for sure.

  • A marvellous piece of engineering.. Goog for you to prove all the sceptics wrong !

I wish you guys all the succes in the world! :-)

  • so.. basically its a helicopter?

  • not really a pack is it, more a waste of cash.

  • amazing

  • Very well done dudes, I've been waiting to see this success for a long time and am so pleased for you all...... I WANT ONE!... :-)

A wingless bird known as kiwi lives in his own world where in his mind he does fly...... He believes, and now his faith has made it so!

  • I fail to see how this has any applicability in the real world. Greater machines have been built, tested and deemed pointless. Just look at the WASP flying platform: way more elegant than this over-engineered piece of junk

  • @mrplease66 jesus christ who took a dump in your cornflakes? If you dont like it, do better, otherwise fuck off.

  • Where is the jet engines..? Jetpack?

  • Jealous americanos!

  • Отсутствует защитная рама, защищающая пилота при опрокидывании, скорость срабатывания парашюта говорит о том что он не спасет на малой высоте.

  • Dear Santa......

  • Congratulations Martin, I have been following your progress for a while and you are really making a breakthrough in the future of personal aviation! Amazing work!

  • It runs on regular gasoline!

I don't wanna be the "green peace" guy... but WTF!!!

We are building the vehicle of the future...a sci-fi dream coming true...being able to fly from your place to the roof of your job and then to the neighbour city's favorite pub in a few minutes....AND WE AR DOING IT WITH FOSSILS!!!

I'm not an engineer of course, perhaps this is why I find this unacceptable.

  • BATMAN MUSIC!!!

  • That's being flown by remote control and the "pilot" is a dummy.

Thousands of people have flown their remote control planes and helicopters over a mile high.

Wake me up when theres a human onboard.

  • Nothing to do here

  • they probably will go out of business

  • @Gunversatil El hombre tiene 20 años de estarlo desarrollando, para ese entonces los cazadores de mitos no existían.

  • GREAT!

  • good job mate

  • And of course, if a pilot expose to such a noisy environment frequently, he/she will need hearing aids someday.....

  • good job ! now they can think about establishing a company manufacturing artificial limbs soon after.

  • Good job proving the skeptics wrong.

  • Fantastic testing! :-)))

  • first
