  • thanks broo

  • Kashmir is played in this :D

  • this was very very very helpful thank you. Im only 15 and im far from your level but hopefully i can learn and be as good as you.

  • thanks you so much for all your videos, you don't know how much it has help me not only as guitarist but a person as well, i learnt to be more open minded about writing songs and u r an inspiration and I will be famous one day and thank you, remember the name: Jonathan Milanes :D Godbless you!

  • Dude! that was very helpful man! Thank you Brotha..

  • okay since no one else pointed it out he forgot one that is really common with the G string. leave it as a G and try DADGAd tunning.

  • @prototypep4 good call. Very cool tuning. For Pink Floyd fans; "Poles Apart" from the 1994 album Division Bell uses the DADGAD tuning.

  • thanks very much brother

  • i have been trying to "find" alternate tunings by ear. I have discovered that i primarily love D and Dm but i have found a way to get a Dm or D by bringing the (high) e string UP to D. I put a lot of stress on my strings and i break my E alot - but usually it is when i tune down too fast it slips then snaps. I have learned to be very careful. Putting the whole tuning on the high end makes it just sing, I love it.

  • cool video, I use several alt tunings ,however you've taught me a couple more here thanks...RuckerD

  • Search for Devil Got my Woman Blues Guitar with John Cephas for a great song in open Dm.

  • Thanks Eric! I've been having fun with these tunings. Great work!

  • Great work Eric !!!

I look forward to connecting with you in the music world soon!

  • Cool vid. Great sounding guitar. What kind is that??

  • Thanks for this buddy! Very interesting and informative. Beautiful guitar too :)

  • Thank you so very much! I do have a question for you though. Maybe you can help me find what tuning is Neil Young using in "Don't let it bring you down" ? I tried a few but just cant find it. I think you may have helped me tho by that "half step down tuning" befor an alternate. IDK? thank you again.

  • LOVED IT! i will be checking everyday for more vids!! you have taught me alot!!

    thanks!!! seriously!

  • Great lesson, very interesting tunings. Thanks!
