  • an exercise of futility

  • The ultimate underdog. He didn't have all the tools but he had the heart and the fire to become one of the greatest point guards and my favorite player of all time. He will always be my idol :D

  • 6:19 LOL!

  • got chills watching this! his legacy is complete even without the ring!!!!!

  • Thank you for all the 6 parts!

John, Please, come back! Yo got to be a head coach. Help us, Help Utah Jazz!

  • I just want to thank John's parents for making such a unique person.John's spirit and ability to play the game of basketball in the way that he did was remarkable.John left the game of basketball with grace and honor.I am thankful to have followed John's career as a hometown fan,he gave us so many great moments to hold onto forever.

  • "...dying breed, especially at the point guard position" - very true. he had to stop playing but his records will stand for a long, long time. the purest and toughest basketball player ever. thanks for the upload

  • Thank you for this awesome video. I graduated from Gonzaga in 1976. When I was asked what college I graduated from, not many knew about Gonzaga. Thank goodness for John Stockton for putting Gonzaga on the map. You presented a great tribute of a man who epitomizes the word gentleman, father and role model. John Stockton is the best point guard with the most assists and steals ever. Thanks for the "John Stockton Retrospective."

  • This made my day! I was just looking at a few other things and came upon this and was mesmorized by a man who on the east coast do not hear much about even how great he was. I am glad to get to know more about him and his story and smile at the other players comments of how tough and good he was. The funniest things were him giving his wife stitches in hockey and blocking the kid in the wheelchair's shot so he could win! ha! He is good basketball thanks so much again for your posts!

  • those was the time...

tho Jazz wasnt my fav team but really love to watch this duo doing the pick 'n roll...

Ostertag a funny guy, Hornacek just good, John Stockton and Karl Marlone just amazing...

  • that's the man out there, a pure example of a point guard, i almost cried for this one. he doesn't play for the money he plays because he wants to win and i don't care if he do not have a nba ring what matters is legacy he made through out his 19th season career. much respect for that guy and his family. God bless thanks for this video a very nice one =)

  • What an awesome video. Watched all of them and loved every second of it. John Stockton is by far the best point guard ever and one of the greatest men ever and by far my favorite basketball player ever. Thanks for great memories jazzgyrl.

  • @tigerwarner you're welcome. happy there are people out there that appreciate stock as much as i do!

  • @jazzgyrl We need Stockto and Malone back now...What is going on?

  • @tigerwarner Stockton

  • @tigerwarner I want them back just as badly as anyone...but I think they'd just end up pissed at the work ethic and attitudes of today's players.

  • @jazzgyrl Totally agree with that. Stock was so loyal to the franchise....I wish I could go back to the 90's and not take this team for granite like I did and apprieciate what was happening for the Jazz. Thank you for your videos for helping realize that.
