stopping the oil leak is easy, build a flexible tube like structure with a 30ft diameter weight to keep it down, the oil will flow up through the tube, they will transport the tube on a ship, then when the ship is in position they will get a strong helicopter and crane on a ship to lower it into position over the leak, a few cable may need to be attached to the top and to large ships to keep the top from floating around uncontrollably, then large oil ships would suck the oil out of the tube.
this oil spill will be the end of life in the worlds oceans as we know it. the oil dispersants will carry the carcinogenic soup to the Atlantic where by then its current willthen crry it throughout the world. BP / Halliburton / Trans Ocean should have napalmed the oil atop the ocean and let it burn... this would have at least saved the shores.
