i liked the navi campaign more than the human one. its a lot easier and i just like being a navi over a human in the game. but it took me 9 hours to complete as human, and a little less than 3 hours for navi.

@neoshaded I understood the plot very well. Us being the poor humans came to there planet in hopes of learning more about there species but we needed a way of funding so had to mine the rares rocks which led to a conflicts we didn't want to be in :)

personally i liked the na'vi campaign better than the RDA. The na'vi side feels like a hack and slash gameplay style like god of war, the RDA side feels just like what the reviewer said, a gears of war style game. although the RDA side is fun to just screw around with when your bored hehe

the environment and all the rda stuff has stellar graphics, the navi stuff looks like it was hastily re skinned from 10 year old models. The navi look freaking ugly! I mean comon! I had it on max settings with plenty of power to spare and ya think they could have thrown in something better for the high performance user? Ok, well i'll give them it was fun for the first few missions, but then it got really repetitive, and I ended up just running through the maps to get to the end. RDA was more fun

I agree with many people say. The game is really cool looking, but as far as gameplay goes, they could have done a better job with it. If they made it a cross between heavenly sword )with the interactive cutscenes that just make the game feel like a movie and more challenging enemies), and Halo (for the type of combat) it would have been better. And when it comes to the controls, the only thing I didn't like is when you're flying the scorpion. It tends to slide and the camera is too static.

The best way to beat conquest mode it to horde up all your credits until the end of the game, them spend them all and build a huge army, on my Na'vi conquest i ended up with 52,000 warriors, 51 Thanators and 51 Ikran. then just move your whole army region by region, it takes a while to move your army from each region, and longer to get the whole planet, but your army is unstopable and the AI has no chance. It's a sure fire way to win.

yeah it has it's moments and looks nice but as a whole it's not really that good... it's not awful, but yeah.. navi gameplay is just random smashing and humans just dodge and shoot.. driving vehicles is frustrating and flying is nearly impossible..

ok, games with good graphics (let's be honest) killzone2, crysis 2, Halo reach, Assassin's Creed 2, Uncharted 2 and many more but this game comes no where close. the texturing in this game seems so unnatural (Im not talking about the freakin shiny plants) the shading and shadows are just not believable it makes the game feel like it has halo 1 shading which was crap. the foliage in the game just feels...like someone planted em there. it feels way too uniform like a garden and less like a jungle

This is one of those games where everyone was "meh" about it and I actually found it surprisingly well made. Play on PC with ultra settings at 70 FPS. A very good looking game. I enjoyed the gameplay and XP system. Dunno why everyone is hating it. Maybe their expectations were way too high.

i am disapointed about this game, had a chance of getting other really great rpg game but somehow my uncle changed my minds when we were at games shop and i bought this... really multiplayer mode is like 1vs2 and finding server is kinda long, story mode may look kinda great but i didin't liked the exploration thing for achievements damn takes long and hard to find those damn ipods as a navi :(. And game really doesn't have blood. After playing 8hours as navi i am bored of it :)

To all the people who like this game, wicked, all for it. But i'm sorry, i give this game like 5 out of 10. Like it's such a drag playing it, its like every other game based around a movie, a waste of money. I wouldn't give it a rent it rating. I would recommend ignoring it. As SniperWolfHi said there are some good parts, but the negative aspects outweigh the positive by far.

Coz a movie aint as much motor things in it as in a game :P a movie is just a file playing, a game is 100000 files playing at the same time.. so if u want the game to have the same grafx... you gotta have 5 years to make it and then an AWSOME computer to play it :P
