I tested Crysis with the following GPUs:

ATI 9250, GF 8400gs, 9400gt, 9600gt, GTS 450, Core i3 integrated. 9250 could not run Crysis (no dx9), 8400 was playable at low (30fps) , 9400 was good on medium (40fps), 9600 was good on high/very high (35fps), gts 450 was good on maxed out settings (40fps) i3 got 20fps low. If you want to run Crysis get a GF 6900+ if you want to enjoy Crysis get a GF 9400+

i've got the 6200 512mb on ebay and it runs crysis on medium best preformace on low but alltogether u can see if u can over clock the card to run high :D .

Yes I agree it would work because I played the Single Player Demo on my old Nvidia geforce 6200 AGP (256MB) but the only problem here is that you are 128MB of video memory short so that could be a big problem there because Crysis requiers 256 MB of video memory minimum.

Indeed I only tested the card in the starter levels, it would certainly have troubles later on. Even my newer 8600 had some troubles running the snowy levels.

overclocked means that you set your V-card to work on higher frequencies (well i kinda don't know how to explain it in English)... its like - if you got that game a bit lagging after overclocking enough it should run fine!

Look for the ini file It may be called game.ini and open it with notepad Look for x and y resolutions defaulted to 800X600 Change the higher number to 320 and the lower to 240 and click save. Now this is important: right click the ini file you just edited and go to properties. At the bottom you will see a button that says read only. Click that then apply. Now it should work. It was quite playable and doesnt look as bad as youd expect. Keep the textures and physics on medium or high

Hey sorry, homeslice. It's actually a .cfg file. Game.cfg .Go to your documents and then to "my games" then to the crysis folder, open the game.cfg file with note pad delete what's there and paste in the following. Backup the file to the desktop before you change it though. after that, right click, hit properties and check "read only".

Well yea,now I'm running it on a 8600gt 512mb and it runs great on 'High' settings(haven't tried it in DX10 yet). 1.5gb ram is enough,just not sure about the cpu. Mine is a 2,2Ghz core2duo.
