The fact that this routine is not age appropriate over shadows their technique and talent. This is why we have so many girls growing up like they do. Let kids be kids and stop making them grow up so fast! I do not blame these little girls I blame their parents. @norajonas9 You never said one good thing about their technique, their astonishing pirouettes and fuettes, their sense of rhythm thats rare for age 7-8, their politeness, their bubbly personalities, or the blonde one's old youtube channel, her amazing ballet technique, ... You and others have only criticized and harassed these little girls, as if they are murderers. This isn't something you'd rarely see in a big dance competition. It's quite common, and many other girls dress far worse.

People don't realize the parents usually do not see the dance routine until a week or so before the recital. After you've paid at least $700+ for 10 months of lessons, you are not gonna say OMG, I have to pull my child out of the recital.

These girls are clearly talented and serious dancers, but I agree that the routine and costumes are too sexual. Attitude is normal for young dancers; shimmying and pelvic thrusting, not so much. I danced from ages three to thirteen, and never did/wore anything this provocative.

Hey for you people that don't know the world of dance, it's really compicated. Even me which is now my 10 or 11th year of dancing, I don't even dance like that. They put kids at like 5 in skimpy tops and bottoms. While other dancers are like just some shorts and a tank or wherever. Now that I have taken over dancing with such young girls, I have put them in tu-tus and cute stuff that explain there fun lives that they should be living not looking skimpier than beyonce when she was in the video!
