I still laugh at people flaming this game. They forget: Making games, add-ons, DLC, Costume Packs...it all costs money. If Capcom really WAS money hungry, they wouldn't be giving us all of these new things, but keep things the way they are. At least WE ARE getting a new version of MvC3 rather than getting nothing at all. A lot of people make damn good points to support this game, and to be honest, all these haters are just sad. Go play CoD or Madden or something. Don't forget to buy THEIR DLC!!

i think the major reason why Marvel vs DC can't happen is because they wouldn't really know what kind of fighting game style it would be. when facing capcom, marvel knows it can be like street fighter and other capcom fighters and when facing MK, DC knows that the fighting style will be MK style. however, when two COMIC BOOK universes collide, how exactly would they fight?

@TomboTime I think the reason they can't decide is because DC is darker, Marvel is more...colorfull, and they both already paired up with different franchises. If they had done MvDC first, there would be confusion for what to do with the other games.

Sure, Marvel has a good relationship with Capcom and DC gets their games through Warner, but the only thing that needs to happen is for them to sit down together and agree to make a game in good faith. If they agree that it's Capcom's show, then expect DC characters to fight as you see in Capcom's Marvel games. The probably will apply if Warner games does it. Even though they compete, Marvel and DC respect each other a lot.

@Biffenstein1 It has 12 new characters, some new stages (they are actually rehashed versions but they do look different enough from the original stages) balance changes (like characters nerfs and buffs) and some changes to the overall game engine. the online netcode is supposed to be better to but idk much about that. personally, Im gonna trade my original mvc3 at best buy for 15 bucks or whatever its worth and that way i get UMVC3 for around $20-$30
