The new freestyle rules irritate a lot of people, but the wrestlers generally adapt well. The new rules really seem to favor position over strength and conditioning, and from what I've seen so far, Trent Paulson and Shawn Bunch both manage to combine explosiveness with pretty solid positioning. (They both tend to step back and hop a bit when working a set-up, and I've seen Russians, etc. score on that.)
