I see people selling crack, I call the police, nothing happens, i go and get a cop and he refuses to leave his post at powell and market. 3 people broke into my building, I called the police they showed up asked "are they still in there" I said yeah i think so. the 6 of them looked at each other then left. you keep turning your head to the crime and this is what happens

They go through several gruling weeks of academy training and after they graduate , they go through another several weeks of strenuous field training before they are let out on their own to uphold and interpret the law and protect and serve the citizenry . part of the hiring process he or she undergoes in many communities is the citizens' review board .

The officer candidate is asked by the people by his community to protect and serve them , and if willing to give up his or her life so innocent people may live without fear .
