I have two of these diapers and am very disappointed in the absorbency of the bamboo insert. and the diaper seems to be smaller then the rest of my diaers I have purchased.
I'm sorry you're disappointed. The insert is made with hemp and certified organic cotton and it can tend to absorb slowly. But, the hemp will also hold onto a lot of fluid and will not have compression leaks.
The original version of our Bumboo Pocket Diaper does run smaller than it was intended to. The Bumboo with all green and all blue snaps are Original versions. The Bumboo 2.o has longer wings. And, the new 3g Pocket is a complete revamp of the Original Bumboo Pocket.
@hedwig63 As far as absorbency, the natural fibers of the Bumboo are very absorbent, but they are not naturally stay dry. If you want something that is stay dry then you will need a separate liner.
I love mine!! I got the brown/pink from Kelly's Closet. Need more!

The 3g Pocket offers much more than the original 2.0 version. Thanks!

I was highly disappointed to find out that your diapers are made in China. Unfortunately I won't be able to buy any more of these.
