I was just testing you guys. I have a great respect to Bill Wallace. I think his kickboxing system is very similar to Bruce Lee's. The three lead kicks - side kick, roundhouse kick, and hook kick - were Bruce's favorite weapons too.
Well, the similarities are pure coincidence since Wallace never met or trained with Lee. And Wallace used his kicking methods long before Lee became famous with his movies.
So what? It's impressive that at 64 (& after having a hip replacement) he can still kick at all. Bill Wallace was great at what he did, was the best thing full contact ever had going for it , loved what he did & still makes a living doing what he loves. He's an inspirational (& well rounded... he wrestled, did judo, & boxed in addition to the karate) martial artist, anything negative people have to say about him doesn't change any of that.
ppl still do this type of kickboxing???!!

'In speed one can develop power, but not necessarily in power can one develop speed.' - the philosophy of Bill's system.

It was a seminar demo. I guess 22 successful title defensesand all the guys he beat were done with no power kicks.
Any videos of you kicking that you'd care to share?

No power, no power, no power.
His kicks don't have power. They're quick though. But if I kick someone, I'd rather kick the head off.
