I know this video was put up some time ago, but I have been wracking my brain on how to crochet with two yarns at once, and all other tutorials talked about ending the stitch with the changing color, but no one showed so clearly how the lower yarn is kept inside the stitch you're working on. This was very clear and totally solved my problem! Thank you!

Well other than granny squares but I can't make those lol. I failed miserably like 50 times in a row.

There is instruction on how to make the sample blanket in the background. it's called the Catherine Wheel Stitch

Why don't you just crochte it normally then turn it the other way xD

Your Mother is right... it would be far simpler... but I think people like a challenge. I am not sure I would ever attempt a blanket because it complicates it for really no good reason... Truth is, I can't see myself ever doing a blanket like that.

It is absolutely fantastic. I am a newbie when it comes to crochet but I will definitely try and make a blanket with that stitch in the future. I just need a little more practice.

The only way that I could manuver that stitch is to follow you step by step.

I was telling one person in a private email about this video. If I were to ever attempt this stitch. I would ensure that I never changed the colour every 3... maybe every 10 would be suffice. Also... I would ensure the colours are more closer to together on the colour wheel.

It's a tough stitch but a neat new skill!
