The only reason I'm attempting to beat this guy is for the Gold Watch accessory he drops for beating him. Gold Watch affords you more time for ranking your battles 5-stars even when they go long periods. I am hoping to use the Gold Watch for the final fight against Orphan...but man is this guy a pain in the ass to beat.

i hated this mission, as soon as i got his health down to 10 mill, wicked whirl, and he healed more than i could hit, also debuffs and buffs, took ages and i still didnt finish it

I love how this game was preceded by a game that rarely let you deal 9999 damage. Here, you can deal FAR more than that if the conditions are right. Craziness!

Hello! Thanks! I was fighting this boss but it can be a pain in the ass! Man, everytime i fight him he recovers so he always has the same life and i do a lot of damage (like 500k). Now i see. i have to use SAB/SAB/SAB and COM/COM/COM and RAV/RAV/RAV and all the same to make it work. Sorry for my english, i live in latin america. Thanks again, i think i'll use this to beat this guy. It's my last one and i have all my 5-star ranking for the previous (63) battlles. Have a nice day!

Ok what gear did you use. B/c my chars keep taking at least 11k HP damage from his wicked whirl and yours only take 9k HP. I know the tortoise paradigm does almost nothing to help that since its not the reprieve abaility saving ur chars, so what is it? Why is it that all the vids I watch the chars only take 9k or even just 6K HP dam from wicked whirl with lil to no res gear?

@Gandechrimson Tortoise does actually help. If you change to it, your entire party takes less damage.

@Gandechrimson Dunno if you got your answer or not, but each level in SEN increasde resistance to damage, so 3 SEN's at lvl5 gives 50% damage reduction

Yeah lol Yiazmat has 50 million but he can be pretty easy to take down if you know what to do, as soon as i get my people strong enough to face him in FF12 ill be making it.
