Carlos Acosta & his young nephew have got to be two of the most beautiful 7 upcoming ballet dancers ever. I especially love Acosta;s interpretation of Corsaire {simple magnificent & superb dancing}; kudos to these two young dancers! I am completely mesmerized by Acosta's dancing; a future Nureyev perhaps?

he doesnt jump higher then carlos ,but i think he is better at his age then what carlos was.

being under his uncles shadow isnt such a bad thing

he will always have someone to look up to and having that last name alone is bound to open up so many doors for his career

ummm he jumps MUCH higher... carlos barely getes off tha ground... i mean actually watch some of his video footage performances... i hav video of yonah dancing at 16 and he jumped higher than carlos does today... its jus a fact... also no one wants a remake... we hav carlos... that name is screwing him.

i dont think his name is screwing him,its was always going to be a challenge for him being carlos' nephew but i think he has certainly lived up to expectation so far,he is still very schooled but he will learn to be a dancer

many dancers can do many pirouettes,but its the quality an technique that counts

for instance kumakawa and carello are great turners but their pirouettes arent as beautiful to watch as caros acostas

i dont know if you live in the u,k but there was a clip of the royal ballet touring to cuba over christmas.they showed a little bit about cuban national ballet school and those kids are just incredible.what alicia allonso has done for the dance world is phenomenal
