i love this song that's one of my favorite scenes when pippins singing it in my opinion as well you have a wonderful gift and a beautiful singing voice and yes i love all 3 of the lord of the rings movies. When someone writes a piece of music, they have the option of copyrighting it as their own creation, and therefore retain the rights to say who can or cannot use, listen or own the music...and under what terms. Many artists decide that they are only willing to let someone have their music if they pay for it because they are trying to make a living at their music.

If someone then purchases on of their songs and decides to ignore the copyright and just throw up the song on the net for anyone to download for free, this violates the legal rights of the copyright holder and is clearly equivalent to stealing. It takes something that the owner ONLY ALLOWS TO BE USED IF PURCHASED, and lets someone else get it for free. hope that helped its not exactly againt the law but against the musicians's wishes but they're already rich enough lol
