better idea, put AT mines on the bonnet, but it will explode the moment you get out so don't drive through deep water. Get really close to a tank and bail next to it, BOOOM suicide and vehicle disable (100), vehicle destroy (50) and 2 kills (200) and its shit loads of fun.

i had heaps of c4 kills and jihad jeeps for ages, was mostly the way i played on certain maps, like caspian and firestorm. but lately it seems ppl have learnt and r using proximity scan alot more which means c4 is a definately no go, jihad jeep r still ok when ur quik and sneaky as hell.

@Rubes2525 IR smoke for armor. Use any building for cover, smoke again. In attack helicopter, ECM jammer, same strategy. If you don't have ECM yet, I dunno, just fly low and use cover, and hope your team is keeping the sky clear. Get gunner kills to get your unlocks quick. Jav users will usually run out of ammo quick in my experience. Rarely get killed by them!

@BattleMoments Ya I know all that, but for choppers how would you avoid a Javelin that re-locks on even after a ECM run and flying low? Or how about the ones that instantly hits you without any warning? I want tips on how to find and kill those motherfuckers that keeps using them.

@Rubes2525 ECM stops all locks for 5 seconds, it should take them 3-5 seconds to re-lock, assuming the laser user and jav user are both following you. You only need to break their lock once for about 1 second before your ECM is reloaded. If you are flying low and they are re-locking quick, you are doing something wrong. They might be in a high location, should be easy to spot their smoke trail

@Rubes2525 The random Javs that hit you without warning, most likely a bug. Happens to all of us. Pretty frustrating I know. Rarely happens to me on levels with lots of cover like Sharqi or Caspian. I fly like a maniac so I'm probably dodging invisible missiles all the time without knowing it lol

leave all that, a small tip is, javelins have range after it, it wont hurt, when you get locked on by javelin fly in a straight line and if you find a building or mountian hide behind it, dont do like idoit players go low and run in circles, it did work for me few times when its not too late lol, but if a heli pilot paint you the gunner will take you down no matter what, because the range is just much longer in guided missiles from heli.

These guys were in a tank every round for the 2 hours I played. Driver at the top of the scoreboard, dominating the other team. I had fun making it my goal to take them out and make them mad =) I know it's not a great video, just wanted a short clip up

Im always a tanker in BF... and when i rumble up to a flag and stop, i switch to the top machine gun (which shuts off the engine) allowing me to always hear shits like u planting the c4 == me shooting u as u run away to detonate them orr just getting out and shooting u while u detonate :P but still nice kills... im sure someone will do the jeep thing to me someday and ill end up eatting these words lol

Well it says CITV has prox sensor but when i am in the third seat i have yet to see it work, not sure if needs fixed or what. Thats why he took them out, BECAUSE a true tank whore NEVER gets distracted from the mini map. @Ato0theJ I just found out from the description of the CITV station (3rd seat in tank) that it has a prox sensor. So you can kinda have both at once. Like I said, 3 engineers in a setup like this with good situational awareness are very powerful!

@Hamstertractor With the specs they were using and having 3 pairs of eyes on the lookout, they were practically invincible. They could take out tanks instantly. 1 top down guided shot, plus 1 shot to the side at the same time = 1 hit kill. RPG shots from waves of engineers were shrugged off. Helis were designated and shot down across the map. The best method in this case was sneakiness with C4

So I'm guessing my invisible hitbox is actually further back behind me taking no damage. It's known that the hitboxes aren't perfect, so this is my guess. I have another vid where I actually do blow up C4 right in my face and take 0 damage...

@hellrazor117 I rarely find someone using prox scan. In this case, they took a risk using something else over prox, and it worked to their advantage for more kills. Having it on would have only saved 1 or 2 deaths. They weren't noobs, trust me. I got lucky on that 2nd kill, I was hiding well.

@hellrazor117 I use it on tank pros all the time. Even if they do have proximity scan, you just have to run up when they're distracted. C4-ing tanks is great fun, as it's more of a challenge to sneak & hide to get up to them. "Tank Whores" also get preetty pissed off - i've driven mroe than one whore from a server by doing it a few times in a row.

Even if you get yourself killed, taking out a tank plus one or more enemies is quite worth it to your team.
