what never made sense was that the company that produced this game had produced other Tolkien games and had stayed realitively close to the book, but this came really kinda didn't. I know that it wouldn't make an exiting game if it followed the story exactly, but you cannot leave out one of the most memorable scenes from the book!

In the book Smaug talked to him, later Bilbo then used the ring to escape.

immmm stuck in my game i cant get past the part wher hes supposed 2 be finding away across the cavern

Using all the rocks/ledges, you have to work your way down to the bottom of the cavern. You'll see three whirlpools (one at the bottom, 2 on the way down), with a stone next to them. You need to push the stones to cover the whirlpools. When they are covered the water rises, so you have to move quite quickly (follow the points). The water will rise to the top of the cavern, and as it rises it lifts a piece of wood-this acts as a bridge for the dwarves to cross. Hope this helps :o)
