  • Liam is a wanker. Noel is King.

  • this is brilliant but noels voice is loads better nowadays

  • perfection, simply perfection

  • cant wait to see noels solo stuff!!his voice as progressed as he gets older,,u can tell this is him when hes younger,,,hes a god!!!!

  • well said, cant wait for the solo shows , id pay good money to see him..

  • noel will be better off without liam, his talent is literally incomparable to liam's.

  • Noels version nowadays is a million time better!

    His voice is immeasurably better

  • about Liam singing dont look back in anger - LOL

  • I always imagine that with Liam's voice in There and Then dvd. It would have sounded brilliant (L)

  • Noel Gallagher es un gran cabron cuando toca la guitarra acustica es mi Heroe

  • i cant describe how much i love this band

  • yes me too I just can't. It's like what Noel says in "Talk tonight", I feel as if they saved my life (after the Beatles also)

  • @MrSoulisFtw same

  • It's almost always interesting to hear Noel sing the songs he wrote, but this is a rather boring performance - save the falsetto on "shadow" - which is an interesting take.

The album version is great and the Knebworth show in '96 is probably the best night this song has ever seen.

  • i would say he sings cast no shadow the best at maine road "96"

  • Agreed 100%

  • or on mtv unplugged?

  • the pictures from MTV unplugged but it isnt the actual performance

  • I didnt think it was boring but yeah I could do without the falsetto on "shadow"

  • noway is this better than the studio version

  • I have this recording in cd.. its just amazing.. best version of the song.. way better than the studio recording.

  • Its written about Richard Ashcroft

  • its not

its dedicated to him, not about him

  • fucking exactly m8... he wrote the song...then bloody dedicated it John10lfc

    peden knows the score ;)

  • wind your neck in you tart

  • i was on the right lines anyway peden! ha

  • who gives two fucks who its dedicated to in anyway at the end of the day its a fucking class tune man!

  • True But Richard Ashcroft Is A Legend!

  • fuckin eh buddy. what an amazing song

  • This song isn't about being invisible, it's about not being able to accomplish anything in life

  • thank you!

  • @PimmyPortoHippy "I just wish I could hear Liam sing Don't Look Back in Anger" - apparntly from an interview i read, liam wants to do DLBIA in accapella at future shows, would be fucking mega!

  • @GavOasis I think Liam will only be allowed to sing his songs and can't sing Noel's. Liam has like what, 4 songs? He better get writing quick if he wants to perform live

  • @JolleyEFC im guessing since he was in oasis, he can sing what he wants. i mean i dont know but i hope he can. Liam actually has quite a few songs that he has wrote, but people only seem to recognise little james, songbird, im outta time and better man.

  • @GavOasis Who ever wrote the song owns the rights to it, so if Liam wants to perform any one Noels songs he would have to ask permission, I can't see Noel agreeing to it if I'm honest.

  • @JolleyEFC

u dont need permission to play songs live

u just can't record them, and why record songs already recorded??

  • @sunj5976 You need permission if you can make money from covering that song for example Live albums/videos

  • lmao invisible..

  • @acousticfoo It's not for you to decide what the song's about.

  • @acousticfoo its about whatever each and every listener wants it to be/understands it to be drawing on their entirely unique life experiences. google 'the author is dead' and have a read

  • @acousticfoo I know your comment was years ago but just thought I'd let you know, this song is about Richard Ashcroft when Noel saw him in London when he was on heroin, and how much he'd changed from his glory days 'as they took his soul, they stole his pride'.

  • @geflad Correcto! Not many people know that unfortunately :o/

  • @acousticfoo Its actually about song writers. Noel once said when he writes a song its like people can see right through him, hens cast no shadow. Richard Ashcroft also felt the same way which is why Noel dedicated the song to him.
