This is a very special song. I remember that I heard it for the first time in 2001 when I was almost 11, and it gave me chills then and it still does now. Thanks so much for writing it! Great video, I too had assumed David Ball wrote this song, great song thom. David really makes it his own by putting his heart into the song. everytime i hear that song tears come to my eyes, and I don't even have family in the military but it symbolizes the sacrifice families have been making for our freedoms for years
