His ballads stand toe to toe with anyone else in the genre, and don't forget (in regards to writing... ) Dee Snider wrote: "The Magic of Christmas Day (God Bless Us Everyone) which was a hit song on Celine Dion's Christmas album that was #1 on the charts for 3 weeks in the U.S. and went 7x platinum. Dee is known for his ballads as well as his metal masterpieces.
Dee was never known for his ballads but he's written some great ones. Great lyrics! You could always count on him for supplying substance even in Twisted Sister's simple music and arrangements.
