@MMAstokke Yes, but the basic form they teach is really bad practise if you later participate in any form of fighting sport that allows punches to the face. A teammate of mine on the kickboxing training did tkd for 8 years, and after 3 with us, he still can't shake the habit of dropping his hands.

Bad news if your first two matches you ever tried are both against smaller pressure fighters with a big chip on their shoulder. ^_^

i have never really been interested in traditional sports like soccer basketball and so on.

i always ended up fighting where ever i went. so i picked up boxing and have done that for about a year. boxing isnt really a competitive sport here in norway so ive stopped doing boxing... on thuesday i will have my first kickboxing class and im really looking forward to it :)
