  • Nope i put tap water in to my tank and all my fish are great but i do put prime in my tank

  • Hi Mike. 1 degree change / 24hours; disagree with you on that one buddy. Sorry. Fishes swim in the wild where there are lots of temperature changes.

  • @350streetracer Well I didnt say it would kill them, I just said it can. It does happen even to fish like Tetras which are very easy to care for.

  • @AquariumTech Yeah sorry for butting in here but temperature changes of more than 4 or 5 degrees will stress fish and that can cause them to get sick. Small temperature changes are actually good because in the wild when it rains the temperature changes in the river :)

  • @FishtanksFTW Hey I didnt make that up, but yes temperatures do change in the wild much more, but usually at a very slow rate. Thats why certain times of the year you might need a bobber on your fishing line, or a sinker, depending what the outside temperature is. Again, I said it could kill, didnt say it was a guaranteed kill. Thats a stretch to say its a good thing, though the rain its self (basically a water change) might be good, but the temperature change that comes, not so much.

  • another cool video from aquqriumtech, thanks mate
