This song is so true, once people get married this is all they do, they dont care about each other anymore, they just play head games with each other and try to "get ahead". Nothing else matters to them except beating each other
my dad told me, cody this song will live with you for the rest of your life, anytime you get into a fight listen to this song, you'll get through it...
@ZombieShellback nah grammer or spelling was never my strong point. but yes i unlike all the other dumbshits pay attention, its sad that the other dont.
I'm 38 now and I still love this damn song! True in so many ways. If you want to win u gotta learn how to play head games. Show how you feel then pull away, fastest way to reel someone in.
When I was a young girl I Bought the Album 33 . I played that album until I couldn't play it no more with all the scratches in it. I LOVE Foreigner !!!! Great Band !!!!
In 1979 a girl I was seeing (Debbie Bedazzled) gave me this cassette tape and told me to listen to the lyrics of Head Games. Humph , I wonder what she meant ?? LOL.
I'm only 4 years old and I listen to this cuz all the other kids don't know what they listen to cuz its crap ya know? I'm cool cuz I'm just a kid and listen to classic rock.
I'm 94 and I lived to see BTO live in concert. Young kids listen to nothing but garbage. I'm cool cuz I'm and old sandbag and listen to classic rock.
Yeah... How about - You like the music because its great music and great music doesn't have an expiration date? Don't try to qualify your self-image with it.
Hey people Kids now a days don1t really care what people think . they embrace all kinds of music. Hey that goes for this 49 year old guy too. I like today`s music as well as yesterday`s music. There was great music and if you keep your mind open like the kids of today old farts can enjoy today`s music too. heheheh keep on rockin never gona stop ...
Just to clear up a misconception...this song was NOT about the disagreements within the band. I asked Lou Gramm about it recently--he says it was actually about a relationship involving one of the band members and his significant other (didn't say which band member's troubles inspired it). Meanwhile the band was fighting over its direction--Mick Jones thought the ballads were the future of the band, Lou thought hard rock was the best way.
@TheFuckinAndrew This song came out before "Waiting For A Girl Like You", (that didn't come out until 1981) and this song came out in 1979, the verses to this song and "Waiting" sound similar to this song although this song is more upbeat
Great song, too bad the album this song was off of was the last album to feature Ian McDonald and Al Greenwood, I personally thought Foreigner wasn't the same after Ian and Al left the band, why on Earth did Ed Gagliardi get booted from Foreigner?
Hello have you heard the new singer for Journey...you can't come any closer than that to Steve Perry...give credit where it is due...I'm sure Steve Perry himself is impressed with his replacement...it all comes down to a matter of opinion I guess but many people including Oprah think the new singer is awesome!
So the song sings as if your head and heart can not deal with jealouse feelings if you want to live in with better feelings learn to deal with them.Like I did.
As a child we should teach them how to share and learn to deal with jealouse feelings so we can not have so many who find they can not deal with the spouses out of sight.
I never met the man who told fibs about me.But that fella almost cost me my life.Yes his girl almost knifed me.But I never did a thing dishonest in my life or marriage. So when you tell your girl lies remmber you may cause innocent grief to someone undeserving of it.
many years ago I was invited to hear them play this.My boy friend acused me of nasty things. But I was soly honest and with my siblings.I never forgot the pain of lies by those to my boyfriend that I payed for.I never harmed or did wrong to others.Head games I payed for.
many years ago I was invited to hear them play this.My boy friend acused me of nasty things. But I was soly honet and with my siblings.I never forgot the pain of lies by those to my boyfriend that I payed for.I never harmed or did wrong to others.Head games I payed for.
men fight with theire ladies over a night with the fellas. ladies want to have theire friends also. offten relations this gets nasty.Head games are part of this in a relationship. The fellas think wife cheets visa versa on wife part.Oh but not everyone is that way.
reason to fight.mmm.whoe,s turn was it.?Oh you want to be with the fellas. Ok she wants to hang with the ladies .But you can not share her.oops too bad.
@2002mlavon ..... ppl don't know how to be honest about anything anymore they figure head games are easier and more fun they don't have to worry about who they hurt or how bad they hurt a person
I'm a 13 year old girl, born Feb 1998. I, personally, don't care when I first heard this band (I was 1, if you need to know), I'm just glad I heard it. This is better than today's music 100% :)
@ThGirlNextDoor98 maybe theres hope for the younger generations yet lol im 20 and im desperately trying to get my 13 year old niece to fall for this kind of music shes a miley cyrus lover
Holy shit..I saw them in concert at Madison Square Garden....man..was i stoned

Im 15, my dad was born in 69' grew up on this stuff, over the years of be growing up he has shoved all kinds of music in my ear's, from john cougar melloncamp, too foriegner, to .38 Special, to the 60s and 80s rock, and ALL country. Now days, i dont listen to lil wayne, but i am into hip hop, but OLD school hip-hop.. People like nas, tech n9ne, Bun B, KRS one, Tupac, B-Legit, and Lecrae and many more. I still love music like this, This shows not all generations are bad! Save the rest!!

Actually age has a lot to do with music. Mostly because it depends on your parents' ages, and you (probably) listen to some of what they listen to. Unless you listen to dubstep. But that isn't music, so it doesn't count anyway
I thought people were supposed to come together for liking the same thing... but somehow this internet has done the exact opposite... the evidence is in the comment boxes.... the government is playing head games with us...
Love how the intro and the bridge is in the key of A major, yet the verses and choruses are in A-flat Minor. You don't see that kind of change too often in songs.
i was born in 1997 and got to miss out on all kinds of great music. now i must suffer to the bubble gum pop garbagey badness and the rap thats mostly about sex, drugs, and gangs. you guys have to admit that there are some cool bands now like mumford & sons and coldplay. thank God for youtube
@roboronald10 exact same here, i always love to see more young rockers, youtube rocks in that aspect but thank god for my dads vinal records or else i would be stuck with todays crap
I did not kno this song until i heard it at the gym twice. The first time I was working out intensely and so when i realized it was a great sond it was over. Then today i heard it again and remembered it as 'head games', i guessed tht to be the name..nd here i am! Brilliant song, awesum lyrics nd music/tune! Time to play again
You do if you can only appreciate the culture you were in while in your prime. Once you join the rat race by trying to keep up every thing new becomes stupid.
fuck that you dont need to be born in the 70s. 1986 and listen to 60s and 70s. and i listen to rap too and some duke ellington from the 30s and 40s. age has nothing to do with music
@theword24 this is true, but i wouldn't of found this music if it wasn't for my dad (born in 56) i was born in 86. the 1st record i played on the turn table when i was 11 was boston. haven't looked back since.god bless our fathers
@theword24 Would you say this is 70's music? I really don't know, I just would have guessed 80's lol. I agree with you though, I was born in 88 and listen to a lot more older music than i do new music, they just had a lot more to say in my opinion... But ya just curious when these guys were big, if anyone knows off the top of their head, really sounds 80's ish but that's just a guess lol
i'm not a really big foreigner fan,i mean i like their music a lot,but i dont know it all..point being i think lou graham has one of the best voices in rock and roll..definately top 10
@insanelylogical I have to agree with you for most people, but in my case I met one of my favorite people ever and my biggest role model and he just blasted rush, elp, foreigner, and other 70's bands and now that is all I listen to. I honestly would hav no identity without him showing me the only good music.
Notice: The 90's were a great decade for music, as were the decades preceding it. I had the good fortune of being a teen in the 90's when most bands were at their best. The 90's were my generation, my time. I meant that kids born in the 90's, their generation is NOW. The lady gaga, justin bieber, miley cyrus and glee generation, lmao. I'm glad to see that kids know the difference between REAL music and the manufactured, fake, talentless garbage out there today. Don't take my last comment 2 heart.
born in 1987 and power ballads are the best kind of music. cant wait til sept got vip backstage passes to journey foreigner and night ranger in concert all i could ask for would be reo speedwagon and i would be in heaven
Spme 90's music is ok.. ( rember i say some 90's not all ) the good rock stoped in or around the very late 80's then arond 89 thay came out with a lot of trash. what happen ??
@insanelylogical1 that the biggest load og crap ever! i was born in 1997 and i listen to rock n roll and pretty much only that ALL THE TIME i know exactly wat real music is and my whole ipod is filled with it and i hav dreams of startin a rock n roll band so STFU and think next time. i wasnt born in the 60 70 80 or early 90!
@insanelylogical sad, im sure i know more about REAL music then you do. and i was born in 89. so before you open your mouth about people that were born in the late 80's and 90's make sure you get your facts staight before you run off with your mouth. feel free to comment back.
@insanelylogical ok dude i was born in 97 but i was raised correctly i know what songs are REAL and what songs suck ass. So dont just assume that people born in the 90's dont know what REAL music is, in fact my favorite band is the beatles.
One of the most under-rated rock bands - ever! Yeah, all they did was make great music with thought-provoking lyrics and churn-out hit after hit for a fricking decade!
I love how the intro is higher octave than the rest of the song, thats honestly really cool....no one can pull off stuff like this, with today's auto-tuned shit.
if you listen to a rap / hip hop song today, in 1 month it's considered old. im not gonna state my age and all that bullshit, but music i listen to and all of you on this video such as Led Zepplin, ACDC, Van Halen, Motley Crue, Foriegner, Prism all of that, is 30+ years old.. and it'll never die. it just goes to show what true good music is.
This song is so true, once people get married this is all they do, they dont care about each other anymore, they just play head games with each other and try to "get ahead". Nothing else matters to them except beating each other

I'm pretty sure Adele is REAL music, but in general 70's and 80's is better.

You do if you can only appreciate the culture you were in while in your prime. Once you join the rat race by trying to keep up every thing new becomes stupid.
doug4326 9 months ago
fuck that you dont need to be born in the 70s. 1986 and listen to 60s and 70s. and i listen to rap too and some duke ellington from the 30s and 40s. age has nothing to do with music
theword24 9 months ago 116
@theword24 this is true, but i wouldn't of found this music if it wasn't for my dad (born in 56) i was born in 86. the 1st record i played on the turn table when i was 11 was boston. haven't looked back since.god bless our fathers
Bishop1776 8 months ago
@theword24 Would you say this is 70's music? I really don't know, I just would have guessed 80's lol. I agree with you though, I was born in 88 and listen to a lot more older music than i do new music, they just had a lot more to say in my opinion... But ya just curious when these guys were big, if anyone knows off the top of their head, really sounds 80's ish but that's just a guess lol

Your the coolest mother fucker in the world!!! hahah
That's exactly how I feel.
Except i feel like I belong, in 1910. Right before cars were even around.
Live off Acoustic and Blues music.
That's how I'd rather play off life.
haha But dude. Your right, I'm 18. And I love every genre, even rap.
But now a days, rock? isn't even music anymore.
A few bands, but only a handfull of songs.
you know?
blueeyedsoldier100 6 months ago
@blueeyedsoldier100 Although I do agree with what you said, I do believe the first car was made in the 1860s
2744spartan 6 months ago
@2744spartan
ehhh I was 4 years off hahah
But I was close,
Just life. Would be easier in those days.
Yeah you get shot your screwed
But its take or be taken. In the human world.
And life would be perfect if things were that a way.

@insanelylogical You are right about the shit music of today. But I do see a lot of todays generation gravatating to THIS great music AND loving it!

Yeah, all they did was make great music with thought-provoking lyrics and churn-out hit after hit for a fricking decade!
rexbo2000 10 months ago
@rexbo2000 true. thats soooo freaking true!!!
edshadowFoX12 10 months ago
I love how the intro is higher octave than the rest of the song, thats honestly really cool....no one can pull off stuff like this, with today's auto-tuned shit.
Rock on, Foreigner!!!
Taydude411 10 months ago
if you listen to a rap / hip hop song today, in 1 month it's considered old. im not gonna state my age and all that bullshit, but music i listen to and all of you on this video such as Led Zepplin, ACDC, Van Halen, Motley Crue, Foriegner, Prism all of that, is 30+ years old.. and it'll never die. it just goes to show what true good music is.
