Rove lies. We did not 'drive' Al Qaeda out of Iraq, and Afghanistan did not deteriorate a mere two years ago because they became the new haven for Al Qaeda. Obama inherited a royally botched program from President Rove and his militant thugs. This is an ideological power struggle and has nothing to do with honesty or decency. Afghanistan has been deteriorating since 2005 and Bush was asleep. Additionally Pakistan has conducted multiple operations in its tribal areas and has only found domestic criminals, not Alqaeda.
