  • how do you make music 8-bit? do you download some kind of program or what

  • i think this dude called it an "8-bit" remix just to put it in simplistic terms for people like me who play video games all day instead of, i dunno, memorize methods of creating awesome remixes like this one... just sayin

    ^.^ lol It works too.

  • this music needs to be added to Chuck norris game lvl 0

  • This should be in the Scott Pilgrim vs the World game! I like it

  • the only video game that would have a song remotely similar to this is sonic the hedgehog imo

  • OMFG! I LUV THIS!!

  • Makes the song sound a lot easier than guitar hero 3 does.

  • @TheRealBluegixxxer It's not that hard...except for the intro...and the solo...and synth death past the chords...and the red snake...

but this version is simply EPIC.

Lets think about this one... cock shiner? sounds more like what certain people get paid to do on the regular homes. Ima let you have this one, cuz i am not gonna be the one to ruin your already piss poor self esteem .

  • @littlelowey1 you sir are a cock sniffer worse than sucking than shining combined

  • If Nintendo ever made a 8-Bit mega-crossover, a la SSB, this should be the final boss theme.

  • Bowser archieved God mode or something

  • If only this song existed back in the 8 bit era, it would be the most ballin' stage ever

  • If by '8-bit remix', you mean 'MIDI that you ran through GXSCC', then yeah. :|

Download FamiTracker, GoatTracker, or that thing for the GameBoy — make a REAL 8-bit version of this song — and THEN I'll be blown away. :D

  • Holy Sack-and-a-half this is AWESOME!!!! This WILL be in the next Atari epic awesome super seller, or Im gonna hafta go down to Nintendo, Sega, AND Capcom's headquarters with my ol' rusty chainsaw.

  • This sounds like Herman Li, when he gets a star from Super Mario Bros.!

  • HA! Funny!

  • that would be like a final boss battle on a Mario game for NES, GBA, or SNES. maybe the original version could be final boss music on Gamecube or Wii?

  • Gameboy Guitar Hero - Dragonforce , releasing soon!

  • im thinkin that for the next anniversary of nintendo they should release a new game for an older system like Nes or something like gameboy, just as like a limited edition type thing...they would get crazy income from all the old school gamers who still have that system :D and gamestop would be sold out of used consoles. Economic stimulus for the gaming world.

  • Wow, it sounds amazing for that its just 8 bit <3

  • It sounds exactly the same, just different mixing in terms of dynamics. Everything is exactly the same.

  • This song sounds like something out of Gundam Seed, or any other epic anime show.

  • Comment removed

  • LMFAO!!! awesome!!!! super mario will be head banging to this :D

  • El intro es igual a como lo hacen tocando en vivo.

  • 8-BIT 4 EVA!!!!!

  • sounds like the music you'd hear in those old spaceship shooter games... or a boss fight

  • sounds like eye of the tiger in places lol

  • this would be a good NES song for fighting and stuff :D

  • yeah

  • this is nostalgic for the first videogames song in 8-bit¡¡

  • Guitar hero for NES anyone?

  • d-pad hero

    its a NES guitar hero

    its real!!!

  • this could be a GREAT theme for a megaman game XD it remembers me the blaze heatnix stage in x6

  • this 8-bit is awesome the band is not their concerts are a waste of money they can only play good on music videos not live and they cant sing....

  • that was beautiful. i think i may cry... joking! but that was still awesome.

  • sounds like fzero music

  • Are you Sure This is in 8-Bit? I Dont See A difference...

    LOL

  • Either you don't know what 8-bit is, or you're tone deaf.

This is freakin' AMAZING! Big ups. This sounds SO much better than what I anticipated on hearing.

  • Dude Its a Joke

  • sorta more aming at 16-bit

  • I could imagine it:

    Guitar Hero for the nes.

  • I could imagine playing a Mega Man game to this.

  • zomg's i ate a bowel of blueberrys and ate em all in almost the perfect time

  • While most Dragonforce sounds the same to me, I will agree that this would and does make a good end-boss fight.

When it first came up in Legends of Rock at the end I was freaking out; didn't hear of Dragonforce or music bein played like this. Oh God. xD Nice job on the 8-bit version. :3

  • beautiful

  • haha F Zero!

  • sounds the same!!!!!!!!lol

  • if exist a pac man game whit this song i buy it sure IS AWSOME

  • I don't hear a difference...

  • jajajaj

  • @KunkSmash thats cause all there music is digitally mixed in the first place......

  • @KunkSmash true...

  • @callofgears91 You have serious ear problems then.

  • it isn't NES music, maybe 8bit music, but not NES music. 5/5

  • how do you know it wasnt covered on a midines

  • LOOOL

  • Why did they have crappy backround music when they could of had this?

  • sick

  • Hey everybody, check out my channel for two new videos i have released!

Theres a 10:00 video about 5 different arrangements of the Metroid Prime menu theme in 8-bit, aswell as the banjo kazooie pause music in 8-bit! go check it out!

  • Hm , I dunno how this 8-bit thing works, but maybe could you try converting 'The Sound of Truth' by As I Lay Dying?

I love the guitar, and I'm not much into the vocals, but I think it would sound AWESOME in 8-bit ^^

  • you drag MIDI files to an app called Gashisoft GX SCC or something, google it up.

  • Or into Guitar Pro / Power Tab Editor.

  • You did it again, beautiful music, enjoyed every second.

  • No nerd fights. or Comments will be Disabled.

  • Btw; You don't take requests do you?

  • ...Perhaps.

  • LOL

  • The thing that pisses me off is people saying that through the fire and the flames sucks because its too easy and people say they can do better. THEN WHY DONT THOSE FUCKTARDS PROVE IT! They talk all this shit but I dont see them doing anything as good as the song.

  • Well, i cant say im a dragonforce fan, but i will say that i respect their guitarists for being able to play like they do. i dont give a flying **** what people say that they are computer generated crap, i believe its real, and people are just jealous cause not a whole lot of people can play like they do.

  • Actually, I take back what I said. This does sound pretty different. You should check out Levus28's version on Mario Paint. It's just as 6/5 cool as yours, but in a slightly different way. I'll bet if you two combined your music into one video, it would be the most BADASSTASTIC thing in the history of YouTube! XD

  • You know what this sounds like? It sounds like you took Levus28's Mario Paint version and added a couple of things over it. I'm not saying you did, but if you look at his comments, you'll see that there are a million fans of his looking for people who took his version and called it their own. So I just hope you didn't. Peace.

  • lol i thought the original recording of this song was already 8-bit

  • XD lol

  • really weird

  • Why the hell did JoshLGuitar get six thumbs down? It seriously does sound almost like the original. If all you DragonForce lovers can't take hearing a single bad thing about your favorite band, then you need to get over the fact that their music is about 50% computer generated.

  • Well, all artificial amp sounds are computer generated. Even now we can have RSE on synthesizers that mimic the acoustic and artificial noises to a perfect replicate. Someday computers will be able to do anything and we will look back in nostalgia on the simple 8-bit days and the era of youtube...

  • Excaclty.. I totally agree^^

And tbh; I like this way more than the original, at least we got rid of the ridiculous vocals ^^ It's always something about heroes and stuff >_>

And they sing "So Far Away" in like 3 of their songs I know, what is up with that ?

And if I also get thumbs down, then something is wrong with you guys.

But personally I don't like Dragonforce, and yeah, this sounds alot like the original.
