I lived in Hawaii in the mid 70's and Country Comfort, along with Cecelio and Kapono, were local stars of the islands. Their music was everywhere on the islands and played a lot on the radio. I guess you really have to have lived there at that time to appreciate their style. It's so nice to be able to come here to listen to them when I want. Those old vinyls don't play so well these days!.
I lived on Oahu, 2 blocks from Waikiki Beach in 1976, love this song and I still have the album to boot! I lived with my bro and he still lives there, so I can still come visit!
On days like today (east coast) I wish I was still there..........

I was born in 83, this song makes me homesick for something I never really had but I know existed for my father's generation
